Wait for AF to return or just go ahead and start pill

Title really asks it all. If you formula fed and used pill as contracetion did you wait for your AF to return before starting pill or did you just start taking pill and wait 7 days before any lovin!!! Babs is over 6 weeks now

I went to get prescription and was told to wait till AF started. It only came back last week, baby is just over 12weeks now. Its a safety precaution incase you were pregnant.

my doc told me that i could start taking it anytime & i didn't have to wait until AF returned. I'm formula feeding :thnk

Dot, would you not be afraid you accidently got pg and didnt know? Of course not having sex will assure you your not but otherwise there is a chance.

When breast feeding you go on the mini pill and as far as I remember you can start it straight away. There is no break either, just 28 day packs I think one after the other.

i was told to take it staight away, to prevent getting pg again.

No sign of AF and baby is 8 weeks now so just going to start taking it. Doctor says its effective after 7 days if I start it anytime and effective immediately if I were to wait and take it from 1st day of AF. Oh and Im definitely not pregnant!!!!! Two years since I was last on it, filled prescription yesterday, don't remember it being 7.95 a pack!

With the number of stitches i've had i'm pretty sure sex won't be on the agenda in our house for a good while much to DH's dismay :o0
