freezing dinners with meat in them?

Hi, Hoping to start adding meat to potaotes or veg and freezing them in pots for dinners. Just wondering about the meat though. If you are defrosting the dinners surely the meat within it would take longer to defrost than the veg or potato it'ts in with? Do people make up their meat fresh every day or freeze it in along with the dinner?

I always freeze the meat included in the meal...frozen meals you'd buy in the shops would be the same!

I would always freeze the meat and veg together, i take them out either at night before i go to bed or first thing in the morning, they only take a couple of hours to defrost and are always defrosted by the time he has his dinner!

I always freeze dinners with meat in them. I just defrost them overnight in the fridge and always reheat them until they are really, really hot (bubbling!) and then leave them to cool for a bit before giving them to DD.
