yep from 6 months on you can give them yoghurts great for them as little snacks or for desert :o)ll I give my two Glenisk sugar free kids yoghurts and they love them.. they are very like petite flious (sp) but without all the sugar as they are loaded in sugar.

Plus 1, I mix these with fruit for teatime. You can also use natural yogurt and babies seem to like it mixed with a fruit puree (and the best option sugar wise)

Oh no just realised I bought the ordinary Glenisk yoghurts. The organic low fat ones. Can I give these to my lo as well?

23Leanne I wouldn't personally give my baby low fat yoghurts. Maybe just use them yourself and get the baby ones next time you're in the shop.

i'd agree with dollymama, i may be wrong but i think low fat yoghurts may have more artificial sugars etc

I agree, I wouldn't give low fat yoghurts to baby. I also buy the glenisk kids yoghurts and sometimes the glenisk fromage frais. My LO loves both. I've given yoghurts since 6 months and had no problems. I also mix natural yoghurt with fruit puree.

what about the ambrosia devon custards?.Are these okay to give? What about the low fat version. Should you just go for normal ones?

Personally, I wouldn't give low fat anything to young babies. I've never given ambrosia deserts, I would probably stick with fruit and yoghurts.

No leanne don't give anything low fat to a baby, they have aspartame in them (and other stuff) which is bad for an adult not to mind a baby. The ambrosia custards has lots of sugar in them (the normal ones) so I personally wouldnt give these either. You can get a cow&gate apple custard pots they have no added sugar.
