Buying wedding dress, accessories, bridesmaid stuff online

I bought my bridesmaid dresses online from www.ghost.co.uk
They haven't been delivered yet but fingers crossed.
Has anyone bought from them before? I'm worried about the colours online v what you receive when it comes to buying online, any advice?

Hi all,

Internet has been my life saver for wedding accessories. Saved a lot of effort trecking around the shops, and money as well!. Have a bit of a vintage theme so was pretty particular about acessories. Best buy was my BM dresses, they are beautiful, would love to wear mself! Just need to be shortened and brooch changed. Its great getting everything delivered to your door! Below are a few of the things I got online!

Can I ask how much delivery was and what the fit was like? It's a pity they don't have pics of the sides and back of the dresses.

Hi mrs skarsgard. Yes I thought the same , more views would be better. I ordered one first to make sure they were ok. They work out about €100 each with delivery. Maybe just under. At the back they are low enough. Really comfortable on. Got the girls to measure themselves and sizes were fine. The dresses are at home in the west put could take s photos wen I am home the June bk holiday if u want!

Is it possible to wear a strapless bra with them or would they be too low in the back?

No worries. I reckon that would be fine and even a bra with straps as long as they were thin. Think u would just need to adjust it so they back it pull down a bit more than normal. My bm's haven't got there underwear for ten yet. Will let u know when they do!

Try dressingpod.com and desireedress.com.. Bought one bm dress from dressingpod and my wedding dress from desiree... Desiree have been more than helpful! Sent me pics of sample work they've done and sample of fabric so i know the colour will match what I want (my wedding dress is ivory/gold, so really creamy!)

Waiting on dresses to arrive, should be mid-June! ARGH! Exciting!
