Thats fantastic. Do you know if they cater for adults over 18 with disabilties. Unfortunatley there are not enough facilities like this for adults in this country. It can be very demeaning and inappropriate to bring adults to kids play centres to benefit from play and multi-sensory activities.

well I do know that it's on a 2hr block and they only allow so many in, so I'm sure if you give them a ring maybe they may be able to block book it out for just your group.....

Multi-sensory, this is the place. All different textures and shapes, it's brill. Great for people in general with any disabilities but I think especially Autism.........ring them!!!!!!!

She, it's so strange you have posted this. We attempted to bring our son and nephew there yesterday but it was booked out.

A warning to all....word of mouth is spreading fast about this place, so ring and book to avoid disappointment.

After reading your description She I really can't wait to visit it now!

Don't waste your money on a 1 year old.We brought our 18 month old and it was hard work. Also they charge for adults and newborns so it can be quite expensive. :o(

sorry seen this thread and had to reply, i was so excited about taking my class here, one of which is autistic. i was so upset by the whole experience, we arrived and signed in and paid, had to pay for adults also!!!!!was shocked at that, and our group booking was a only a euro off! the chidren were then subjected to the rudest girl ever speaking to them about "having fun" but spitting rules out at them like they were little dogs, we proceeded upstairs and i was followed by a lady who scremed and shouted at me in front of the children about bringing 3 children more than i booked in we paid for them of course we didn't sneak them in!!! She then told me if my children upset any of the other clients that we would be asked to leave!!!!!!! when we got there we asked was there a party room we could hire to use for the childrens picnic as the weather was so bad outside today, they told us we couldn't use it as it wasn't pre-arranged and they had a workshop on, which turned out to be a complete lie as the room was on the second floor and completely empty the entire time we were there.
the children proceeded to explore and we did some role playing games and things, however the staff literally followed the children around and glared at them(or us) if they moved a toy and didn't return it straight away, one or 2 children filled the shopping carts and and walked over to get a bag for their shopping and when they returned the girl working there was putting there things back on the shelf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just felt so on edge and uncomfortable and also felt i couldn't allow them to explore freely! for a supposed child centred place it simply isn't.
i spotted no access for wheelchairs, the roof top garden was not accessible, i did spot that toddlers had to wear a specific brand of shoe or go bare foot!
Now my little guy with special needs, was thrilled with a car model they have however he was ushered away from it by the staff to allow other children to use it, he was just looking and not playing. in the construction area a member of staff cleaned up bricks as he was playing, he told her he was playing with them (a big deal for him to do this i might add) and she ignored him and continued to clean,he became frustrated and started to get upset so i intervened and pulled the bricks down for him as he was genuinely having fun and even interacting with others, i was gutted he was treated so badly by people who are supposed to HELP children.
over all our experience was dreadful and i wouldn't reccomend it to anyone with a group, or more than 2 children, or with children under 2!

God sorry to hear this. Mine was the total opposite experience to you, I barely noticed any staff at all, never mind following people about. Our kids played freely and no one bothered them.
I knew before hand that the adults had to pay so it wasn't a shock to me. Good to hear some different feedback anyway. But in all honesty if you really feel you were treated badly you should go futher about it. Ring and speak to a manager or send in a letter of complaint. :wv
