Re: Wedding ring to match 3 stone engagement ring?
I Thin that with three stone ring would look really gorgeous with really thin alliance ring. I was thinking about having a 3 stone ring for my engagement ring and tried several different wedding bands to go with it. The alliance rings looked really nice with it. (I choose a different engagement ring design, but I still really love 3 stone rings:) Well maybe on our 10th anniversary!
Edit: I like this kind of alliance ring: http://www.etsy.com/listing/91870220/ri ... dding-band

I think plain bands look best with trilogy rings.

Hi there,
If you're still confused as what to go for this is what I think...Diamond set wedding rings have been very much in fashion for the past few years however three stone e-rings look way better with a plain band in my opinion. The plain band doesn't take attention away from you're main diamonds. After all it's the more classic look! Re: Wedding ring to match 3 stone engagement ring?
I have a 3 stone e/ring also and have started looking at wedding rings. im thinking of going for a pretty thin band set with diamonds and i quiet like the milgrain effect..though i notice some shops defination of milgrain is not same as others. i think it looks more old fashioned/vintagy
one thing i cant decide is to get it slightly dipped/curved as my setting for main stone is wider than band..or just get straight wedding band and not worry about the little gap
Re: Wedding ring to match 3 stone engagement ring?
I have a solitaire, but I like the plain band with one or 3 stones as an ering, a plain band as a wedding ring, as I think they look timeless and elegant, and then you could get a thin full- or 3/4-eternity band for an anniversary or occasion. That way, you can have the bling and the plain, and you can play around with the looks. That's my excuse to get more rings anyway!
Let us know what you decide!
Re: Wedding ring to match 3 stone engagement ring?
hi, i wasnt sure what to do either, i liked the plain band, but ended up going with one with 5 small diamonds. Think the small ones compliment the engagment ring and nice to wear on its own. Anymore and it might over take it. Have you yellow or white gold? Think it is really case of trying them all and see what works.

Hi Woolies
thank you so much for all the advice, we are getting our wedding rings made and we are contacting our jeweller in the next few weeks - I think I'm going to go for the plain wedding band - I keep convincing myself that the diamond bands looks good with the ring but in reality I do think the classic plain band is nicer with my ring but who knows, my jeweller might change my mind!
