DIY Help with hair clips!

Hi,

I bought 2 of these Jenny Packham hair clips today. I love the flower and they are the perfect size for my short hair but I don't love the clip fastening she has used. It's quite big and will be very visible even if you had lots of hair to hide it.

I wonder can I take this snap clip off and change it to a comb or smaller slide fastening - anyone have any experience of modifying jewellery or similar?!

the woolen mill do all types of slides etc for making your own hair clips you could snap it off and glue it onto a smaller slide

If I were you I'd give a wander into Hickeys - they're really good with giving advice on things like that. Plus, they should have all the materials you need. :wv

I got a really detailed PM too so it's much appreciated.

I'm going to try Beads and Bling on the quays in Dublin first as they seem to have everything on their site. I am hoping I can use a pliers (the clip is soldered) to take the snapper off and then either on a smaller hair clip or a metal hair comb!
