Any breakfast ideas?

Any breakfast ideas?

Postby yadayada » Tue Nov 16, 2021 3:50 pm

Getting sick of eating the same old breakfast so looking for some suggestions. I normally eat breakfast at my 10 o'clock break and either have

yogurt & a banana = 2.5 pts
or
Scone & jam = 3.5pts

any ideas?

could you bring in cereal and keep it in your drawer for munching on. I find fruit n fibre the best although some here have w'bix.
I have finally starting eating porridge! I can't believe it as I used to hate it. But i sprinkle it with cinnamon and sometimes throw a few raisins in and to be honest its growing on me. I use the microwaveable one -NOT the oatso simple though as they are really bad

What about a packet of melba toasts which are 1PT for the packet and a laughing cow light cheese triangle 1/2 pt.

How many WW points are in porridge (made on water) ... it was recommended to me to have it for breakfast (apparently much better instead of wheat based cereals) :?

every week morning i have 2 slices of McCambridges brown bread (soda) and a laughing cow cheese (light obviously) Then mid morning i have an apple - approx 3 / 3.5 points

At the weekends i splash out and have smoked salmon / scrambled eggs and toast or poached egg on toast and that keeps me going for most of the day.

Make fruit smoothies (with leftover fruit you have)
Fruit Salad (Make big bowl and have it each morning)
Cornflakes and Slimline Milk and Glass of Warm Water and half a lemon (this speeds up your metabolism) and cleans out your system
