Hi Ladies, hve joined SW online as no classes in my area. Got my books in the post during the week nad still trying to get my head around it. Am going to do the extra easy one as I tend to eat lot of carbs.Am going to start Tuesday as am off out for a few drinks tonite and had an apache pizza last nite. Have a wedding the August bank holiday weekend so need to shift quite a bit of weight.

Faithful nite, I'm doing it online as well, we're from the same neck of the woods. This forum is great for helping with any questions that come up. I didn't get the books, just printed stuff off the website. Are the books any good.

Hi ladies, mind if I join you all. its a great thread.
Heading back to SW tonight. Joined last summer and then broke my arm after 2 weeks and rejoined after xmas and got pneumonia... hadn't much success needless to say!
I was saying to hubby last night weight is flying on since wedding, I wasnt happy with my weight for wedding and have good 2 stone to lose so here goes again!!

I had a disaster of a weekend.

Pure laziness in all honesty, well that and I just wanted to eat everything I saw.

Was back on track from Monday but the damage is done!

Disaster of a weekend here too, it was DS's bday so had cake, lots of cake and now AF has landed too so doubt Thursday's WI will be great!

ok, down another 1lb.

Shocked to say the least after the weekend I had. I'm going to be extra good this week, fully expecting last weekend to catch up with me - this is just damage control!
Not going over on syns any day so my next WI I will have been extra good for 10 whole days.

well i stayed the same weight this week - i really need to get my ass in gear and lose those two pounds to get to my half stone lost.

Down 0.5lb. Getting a bit sick of this slow progress, after such a great start I've only lost 2 lbs in the last 4 weeks with these stupid fiddly 0.5lbs. I really need to start applying myself and stop sneaking in little treats. But at the same time I don't think I'm being that bad either. I'm determined to loose a lb this week and get my 2 stone award.

Well done to everyone else.

I have weigh in after work. I am also on the slow train but its my own fault. I seem to be very good for one week and then very bold the next. I was +1 last week. Fingers crossed for 2 off tonight and I'll get my half stone. Not sure I have done enough though. I wish I had more willpower!

I was 1.5lb down so didnt get my half stone. Will have to be really good this week to be sure I get it next week.

This was posted on our SW fb group today, thought it was good. People get disheartened when they only lose a pound. Now look at the packs of butter. Each one is a pound! How many have you lost?

Ive lost 6.5 packs of butter since starting SW and 9 altogether

Seems a lot when you look at it like this.

Hi girls can I join in?

I have about 11 pounds to lose, I have a six month old baby, but I had weight to lose before I got pregnant lol.

I had started couch 2 k but got plantar facsiitis and I am crap at sticking to exercise really, especially now that I am back to work part time, so diet it is.

I started following slimming world last Sat - I'm not going to the classes just following the plan, doing red and green days rather than extra easy. I have been finding it ok, some adjustment period issues! but generally fine and I was sure I felt less blobby and my clothes were more confortable as the days went by. But according to the scales this morning I havent lost anything, fingers crossed for 'official' weigh in tomorrow.
