Well it is great that you didn't gain anything either. Why have you added baby bear to your name? Are you pregnant? Sorry I am very nosey...or I sound very nosey anyway. Don't mean to be. Just noticed the addition. Don't answer if you don't want to. :wv

No probs hun, just decided to add it as never dreamt i'd be able to as we had to do IVF to conceive our ds, if i was PG now it'd be a miracle tbh, but then again miracles do happen so we live in hope!!

You changed your name too, love your avator :o)ll :o)ll

Well i'm back on the wagon this morning, 110% this week, everything that passes my lips is going on the food diary, was so dissapointed last night as i was good all week, really dont know whats going on with me, joined WW few weeks back and same thing happened, just wouldn't shift, am beginning to wonder maybe if my thyroid is bit off kilter as it was queired few yrs back so might get gp to check again as i'm v tired also and ds sleeping all night so i shouldn't be wrecked, will give SW few weeks though to see how i go *)

Oh right. \that is hard. Yes I saw that we can't have spaces in our usernames anymore so I had to change it and I thought that name would be good for both ttcing and losing weight. Not happy with avatar though funny enough. It is very hard to find a nice one. Little Miss Hopeful as a character does not seem to exist. that smiley face is a bit freaky.

Mammybear go home tonight and measure your waist, arms, thighs and chest. If the weight isn't coming off on the scales then check your measurements again, you could be down a few inches - and sure thats all that really matters!

If the scales aren't showing the loss in a few weeks then there is no harm getting the tyroid checked by the doc

Going to get weighted in either tonight or tomorrow depending on when I get off work. Missed Monday and need the weigh in because I'm just not as motivated.

Whats for lunch today?

I've salad, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot with a can of tuna, a muller light, and a banana!

Well done mrssunflower. I ate in Captain Americas in Blanch this evening and I am sure I had a virtual syn free meal. It was real healthy so happy about that. First time I have sat through a cinema film without food or drink I think. My big vice is ice cream and my friend got a big tub of B & J and I avoided it and didn't even miss it so proud of myself on that little achievement. Need to get tucked into the melon for this week as I bought it last week. Didn't get my walk done today but was walking around and running about a good bit earlier on, so better than nothing.

Well I am having a real case of the blues today and wanting to eat all kinds of rubbish as comfort food. I had a mini victoria classic and they are 7 syns. I could eat a whole tub of ice cream now. Thank God we have none. I did have 2 slices of bread at lunchtime though. How many syns is a slice of wholemeal bread?

I had bbq chicken and baked potatoes. The chicken is really nice and tender and not covered in batter, fat or skin. It just has a grilled kind of flavour. They give the sauce separate in a little dish. I had a tiny bit of it alright so that was probably a couple of syns but had very little. I counted the chicken and baked potato as free and I just drank water with it. They have lots of salads as well though.

Im gonna join yous girls if thats ok!

I have been going to Slimming world now for a good few months and so far I have 13lb off with 10 more to go to target. Two quick wee questions.

1. Have any of you become stuck at a weight and cant get by it no matter what? I have been hovering around a weight now for 5 weeks. How can I get by this? Gonna try a food diary this week see if it helps.

2. Did your consultant suggest a target weight to you or did you pick one yourself? I picked mine but just wanted to know what happens in other groups. The lady at my group suggested a weight that I thought was very low for me.

Keep good luck with the plan though - god its sooooo tough over the weekends!!
