Dukan Diet?

Re: Dukan Diet?

Postby dreamer1 » Mon Nov 07, 2021 5:05 pm

Hi, I've just started yesterday, so on my 2nd day and finding it hard going. missing my veg and fruit. Weighed myself this morning, and I lost 4 lbs. :o)ll I still can't believe it. Went for a walk both days and planning to do this for the week thats when this phase ends. If anyone has any tips for help with doing sothing different with the eggs in the morning, getting tired of scrambled.

Well done on 8lbs super and super quick

Hmmmm Scrambled Eggs - havent had them yet (I dont think) I might give it a bash tomorrow - though watching cholesterol (though apparently that has reduced dramatically since starting the diet )

I love the galette - I overload on pepper sometimes chilli and there's an egg in that - I top with smoked salmon & grill every morning - and I really love that - so that might be nice.

anyone who is constipated - rhubarb is a tolerated food on the dukan - though there is a specific measurement I didn't use - but found it got everything moving along nicely and yummy with custard & Espresso shots.

Im very happy this morning weighed myself after another gastronomic tantrum and despite my splurges for the last week - Aldi/ lidl chocolate is just too good I lost another 1lb - which means I have only 2lbs to go.

2lbs to go whoooooooo hooooooooooo

Hey guys ,

Havent really been checking in - had a number of four legged diversions through the house at the moment , but anyway thought I would share my good news, though the ladies originally posting dont seem to be posting anymore. - please update if you can .

I reached my target today - tomorrow is week 16 but its been a great loss of 52lbs which is 3 stone 10lbs - was a little shocked when the scales showed 8 13 - ran up to my friend today to tell her also 'suffers with her weight' we recapped from where we started and I told her 12 9 and she said to me she couldnt believe it she thought i was bout 15 stone (hahahhaha) so anyway am thrilled - will finish this week as im going and then onto the next phase .

ALL I CAN SAY IT IS SOOOO WORTH IT - SOO WORTH IT.

Hi Guys, just wondering how do ye take the oatbran?

Is it ok to add to youghurts or how do you make porridge with it as only 1.5 tbs per day? :wv

septgal,i just put the oatbran in my muller lights, when you can have the 2 tablespoons, put it in a bowl add some water and microwave for 30seconds then stir and add some milk, splenda and cinnamon and put back in for another 30-40 seconds, youd be surprised how much you get when you put in the water, and use your normal tablespoon, for a long time i was using the wee baking spoons and it wasent enough,so now i just use my normal spoons and there is plenty,i tend to eat that in the evening, gives me something to look forward to for supper :wv

Just thought I would join this thread as have been following Dukan for 3 weeks this friday. Started at 10 st, true weight according to DUkan is 8st 11. Most of it is baby weight as I have a 6 month old (as well as two older ones). Any, I have been in and around 9st 6 for about a week now - can't wait to see 9st 5 on scales!! I am on cruise right now, sticking to it pretty well. Usually have oat bran porridge and yogurt and boiled egg for breakfast, tuna or tinned fish for lunch and dinner is steak marinated with oyster sauce, garlic, chilli sauce and an onion or chicken cooked smiliarly or salmon cooked similarly.... get the idea!!!Add Veg in there for p&V days..
I am thrilled to have lost over half a stone already but have stagnated a bit. Could be cos I've been a bit crap a getting out for my walk between one thing and another (3 kids can be tiring!!) I've a cold this week and kids sick also so can't really go to gym but regularly do spin classed and body pump so maybe next week i can hit gym, get back on walk and get the weight moving again!! Not sure if I'll get to 8st 11 but I'm happy at 9 st so hoping for that by xmas anyways.
It is a great diet for effectiveness but can get a bit boring and so hard to grab a snack on the go.. One thing it really does is strips your diet back to the bare minimum I(in variety not quantity) so you can really see how much rubbish you actually eat...
Will keep everyone updated!!! :wv

ok ladies
thats it i have been reading back through this post and im stating tomorro. its now or never for me.
i`m at my heaviest ever and its really getting to me.
i have been reading up on the dukan all day online and as far as diets go it seems ok.
I love carbs and find it hard to cut down so think the total elimination would be best.
Attack phase here i come :)

I'm on day 4 of this diet and I've lost 5lbs already! I have to say it's been relatively easy which quite surprised me!! I've tried every diet under the sun over the last few years. Piled on the pounds over the last few months and I was feeling dreadful about myself! Couldn't face the thought of christmas feeling so fat and frumpy so I'm giving this diet my all, no cheating at all.....til christmas eve!!

Well done noraB85-like you i have tried sooo many diets but unfortunately i`m now heavier than i was 9months pg :-8 anyway thats all in the past-i swore when i stepped on the scales this morning that i will never see that weight again.
I plan on doing the attack phase for 7 days and i have xmas party next friday but i`ll be as good as i can
i have been busy reading back over this forum and copying and pasting all the tips bt would appreciate any more tips.
I had scrambled egg and ham, yougurt and bran and coffee for breakfast
for lunch i`m having chicken and fat free yoghurt and steak and poached egg for dinner
Will also be having tea/coffee (with sweetner) and diet drink throughout day of and lots of water
