O God girls, I miss Bootcamp so much. Now don't get me wrong, I am over the moon to be pregnant but I do miss it. If I could give you one piece of advice it's this: If you want to see results fast, go to every single class. I started in March last year and finished up less than a week before my wedding (end of June). In four months, I dropped a stone and one to two dress sizes and was in the best shape of my life. I didn't skip classes though - I just loved it too much. I literally went three times a week every week. I look at my wedding album now and am so happy at how I look. I went back after the wedding and kept going until I got pregnant. Already I'm planning on going back in September depending on how my labour goes. Second piece of advice? Get involved in all the outside activities and get to know people. I have made some great friends through BC. I love how outdoorsy it is.
Re: Bootcamp diaries- Take two!
sunny505 I've a friend who's pregnant at the mo and she's planning on going back to bootcamp to lose the baby weight
i've been quite unlucky in that i missed 2 weeks due to an injury and then missed another week with mental work hours so i've only properly done 4 weeks but i have noticed a difference....also noticed a difference in that i haven't been to a class in a week and i can see the jiggle starting to come back ![]() off to bootcamp this evening but my eight weeks are up this day next week tryin to decide if i'll do couch to 5k or bootcamp vouchers.......hhhmmmmmmm [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

Realta, I'd stick with BC personally but that's just me. I just do not have the motivation to do it myself. It's expensive definitely but for me it was so easy once I got over the initial pain and unfitness and it just became a part of my routine. Like I'd prefer to cut elsewhere in my life to keep going. I was going to be the fittest pregnant woman ever!!! I went to BC for a few weeks, then I started swimming. But then the tiredness hit and I ended up doing nothing for months and months. Definitely not hte fittest pregnant woman ever!! I'd say I've lost a lot of my fitness but walking every day now as the fear of labour gets closer

Sunny505 if you were fit before you got pregnant you should have 'muscle memory'. My brother was telling me its easier to get fit if you've been really fit before. not sure of the science behind it but it sounds good!
i'm definitely going to keep up with bootcamp, went shopping with my mum yesterday and she commented on how my waist looks noticeably smaller (yippee!) and i'm definitely noticing my stomach is much flatter. i've decided to clear out my wardrobe cos half the stuff in it are loose tops and dresses that just don't fit me any more! actually looking forward to my first dress fitting now!!! Just bumping this thread up- I'm restarting Bootcamp this week for the next 5 weeks- baby is 5 and a half months old so time to get my old body back!! Anyone with me? Anyone done a Bootcamp over 5 weeks and how were your results? What can I expect from 3 sessions every week for the next 5 weeks? Some motivation would be great!
