My weight loss diary

My weight loss diary

Postby thekerster » Fri May 20, 2022 1:38 pm

Hello Wollies!!

Just recently got engaged, although shhhhh we haven't told anyone yet!!! :o)ll

Anyway, I'm on a mission to loose a bit of weight. Not planning to get married for quite a while as we are both still in Uni.

As a broke student Ive always found that loosing weight can be really expensive between keep fit classes, weight watchers fees, gym membership etc. Well now with a wedding to save up for this is money I really cannot afford to spend so I'm looking to loose weight as cheaply as possible!

I thought I'd start a bit of a diary of my progress on this thing so maybe we could share the journey together and also share a few penny saving tips!

Well it begins today and here are my stats:

Age: 23
Height: 5'4
Weight: 11'13 :-8
Size: 12-14
Measurements: 36-31-43
BMI: 28.7
Shape: Pear

Wish me luck!

Congrats on the engagement! :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll

I advise that you take up running... there is a running thread going on Health and Fitness:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=313905

It is such good exercise and the best part is that it's free! Well apart from a decent pair of runners...

Best of luck with your journey :)

Oh and drink lots of water - I'm a divil for not following this piece of advice but it does work.

Thanks for the comments and tips everyone!!

Had a disaster of a week. I work sore of freelance so I really don't have regular working hours and ths week was particulary bad. Up to all hours and stressed out constantly.

Exercise wise I did very little. At the start of the week I was very good and walked the poor paws off the dog but then once work kicked in exercise was minimal. Have a slightly quieter week this week so hoping to start couch to 5k on monday!

My eating has been awful. Worse than usual. But I tried to stick to all the simple tips of; making good choices, stopping eating when I'm full and trying not to eat to late.... although this did not stop me eating a dominos at 11.30pm one night after a particulary stressful day, although I kept it too a personal, no side order and got loads of veg on it!!

Given my disasterous week I was preparing myself for the worst when I stepped on the scales. But I had a nice little suprise!

This Weeks Stats
Weight: 11' 10
Total Loss This Week: 3lbs
Total Loss so Far: 3lbs

DELIGHTED!!!

Congratulations! :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll

That nice surprise is just the motivation that you need to keep going, so use it. Just keep thinking in small amounts of weight loss. 2 pounds next week. Definitely achievable...

good luck!
