Hello ladies

I am very late joining this thread compared to when it was started but if its ok with every1 I would like to jump on this bandwagon.
I am engaged almost a month and we are organising our wedding for May 2013.
I have approx 30-40 lbs to lose
The health websites say according to my BMI I am ''clinically obese'' O:| O:| O:|
I am a big frame so I carry the weight well but I think that I am outta the ideal bracket that the BMI thing suggests. I am all boobs and belly so I need to shift these. If I was to get down to the ideal weight according to the BMI thing I would have to lose 54 lbs but I think I would be doing absolutly fantastic to lose the 30-40 mark.
I wanna get most of the weight lost before March/April because thats when I will begin my dress hunt.
The target for xmas sounds do-able I ave lost my first 2lbs last week - woohoo! :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll

Welcome!
The more the merrier and the more encouragement hopefully!

Well I weighed myself there and I have put on half a stone in less than a week.

Shame.

Today I weigh 15 stone 7 1/2 pounds.

I will lose more than 2 pounds this week.

Am tracking and pointing.
So far today boiled egg, fruit and a generous turkey salad for lunch.

Not too bad...... though a penguin and lasagne are not diet friendly!!

I am cutting out carbs, cheese and alcohol.
Just until my work xmas party (which is only 2 weeks away :-8).

I have eaten 20 weight watchers pro-points worth of food today. I think my daily allowance used to be 29.

True but had dinner made yesterday before we kicked our asses up a gear. A penguin is totally diet friendly no??? Less than a 100 calories. Found a good tracking site
Weightloss resources.. Its given me a target of 1300 calories for the day, I've 58 left... hmmm... I'll spare them make up for BAD lasagne.

Have already seen I don't eat enough protein fruit or drink nearly enough water.

Would never have thought that - same calories in a penguin as in a special k bar so?
I'd know which I'd prefer!
I still can't buy them though because I wouldn't be able stop at 1, I'd eat the whole packet.

I will weigh in on Thursday. Hopefully 3 days will make a difference.

I know - I'm a big fat hypocrite! If I heeded half of my own advice, I'd be a thin, model citizen!

I had a skinny latte and an apple for breakfast, black tea and fruit for break, half a bag of chips for dinner, a muller light yoghurt (with oat bran, a la the dukan diet) and more fruit, plus about a pint of water.

Not great, I know.

I tried on some new clothes today and they just look awful - my belly is like this...
