Is it possible to lose a stone in a month?

Hi all,

Going away in 5 weeks and really want to shift a stone - is it possible?

I'm a bit of a fussy eater but was trying to stick to 1200 a day and hit the gym 3 times a week. Is this enough?

Any tips greatly appreciated!

Might be possible, but its an awful idea and I'm sure its not the best way to get lighter in general. It would definitely depend on your current weight too. If you really want to try you should take up running if you don't already. Lots of my friends have as we've hit our third of life crises and its the one thing that I've seen change their body shapes quickly and for as long as they keep it up. Definitely don't starve yourself. Eat plenty but healthily if you don't want to go the excercise route.

depends on your weight now? if you have a stone to go to your ideal weight it would be tough to lose it in a month. I was a stone off my ideal weight, started at 150 lbs am 5 8" I'm 3 weeks into my diet and exercise and havelost 8 lbs have 6 lbs to go to reach my ideal weight of 136 lbs, I HAVE 7 WEEKS LEFT. The last few pounds are really hard to shift, although I haven't cut back on my food, I've just been exercising really hard. Will be cutting out the junk food now and hope this helps me lose my last 6 fairly quickly.

Should say I tried dukan, lost 6 lbs really quickly but I got very sick and had to go to the doctor he told me to eat properly so I put on the 6 lbs really quickly when I started to eat properly, so then I decided to go down the exercise route ( THE HARD WAY) and I've lost 8 lbs in 3 weeks, 2 hours a day broken into two 1 hour sessions morning and evening. I'm afraid I've been looking for the easy way all my life and now realise there is no easy way. But if you stick to the exercise you can lose up to 10 lbs in a month. and your body will look better than if you lost 10 lbs through dieting.

yes it is possible but it will take a great deal of willpower and hard work. sounds like u are on the right track and i am sure u will do it,

sorry sent to early but it is a lot to do and u would be surprised how well u can look with 7 lbs off and the main thing is to feel good and to loose weight in a healthy manner

losing a stone in a month is easy to plan out, but hard to execute. You have to "eat clean" and train hard at least five times a week. Only allow one "cheat meal" a week also. Please talk to a professional before taking up this challenge. Best of luck with it.

have you tried the dukan diet?
im on it since may and i lost 16lbs in the first month,its tough going the first few days, actually its really hard but its so worth it,im only a few pounds away from losing 3 stone and feeling great!
