Christmas 2011 Motivation and Weightloss Thread

Aw Gaff. Why do we put up with them :o0
At least you didn't drink and eat the bacon fries. Could have been double trouble. Hopefully you've made up for it since.

Chick don't worry about it. Enjoy it all tonight and them back to action tomorrow.

I'm having a so-so week. Had a party on Sat so drank lots. Food was ok (had a big salad before hand so just had a few nibbles). Was hungover on Sun and staying in a b&b so had a big full Irish. Had a few non diet sambos at my aunts for dinner. Stopped at a garage at the way home and I would like to say thank you to the bus load of girls who went into supermacs before me, I couldn't be bothered waiting.
Got back to normal yesterday and even though I was wrecked I went for a run. Hope I keep it up for the next two days.

I lost 1lb this week and happy with that as scales at home had me up 2lbs. Nearly did not go to get weighed. Want another 2lbs gone by Christmas.

Well done on the weight losses girls. It's all in the right direction.

Ye gaff it's mad to think about what we used to eat and drink. Ever since I first lost my weight I won't go near Baileys, and try not to use full dat milk, mayo etc. ever little helps as they say. Myself and H2b used to get those meals for 2 in the Chinese (which would easily feed 3-4 plus an extra that we liked. We would finish it no problem. Thank god we changed (most of the time, once every 3-4 mths we might have a big blow out :-8 )

Not sure how I'm gonna do tonight. Hoping down 1 (more please but don't think possible) the weather is really affecting me also h2b hasn't been home all week so I'm snacking rather then having proper dinners. I'm very much a secret eater (no one will know) so I need someone there to keep an eye on me. Had a few bad moments (yesterday for dinner was in tescos picking up lots of crappy savoury snack type stuff so I put most of it back. I did keep one (scotch eggs out of curiosity as the kids I babysit eat them) and then had a smoked salmon bagel so didnt do to bad.

Only did two runs all week. I'm just so tired. Can't get motivated at all.

Home from work now, went for tea with DD and got dumplings, they are boiled meaty things so they aren't too bad. But I'm dying with a cold (middle of summer here) so I polished off a bowl of icecream it was fab!!

I only got 1 run in this week too as I was just so shattered. After dieting all day the last thing I want to do is spend an hour in the gym. Even before I used to eat a big bag of jelly beans before a long run, I think I'd need to do the same again!

I have a xmas party tomorrow and we're having a BBQ, i'm driving and not going to drink so hopefully that'll mean I won't pick at all the desserts. I'll stick to the salads, meat and fizzy water. Fingers crossed.

Hope you are all doing well?

:o( :o( :o( up a pound girls. I'm just so annoyed with myself. Leader said it could be because of coming off the pill, hormone changes, wearing more clothes, feeling bloated etc. but I know I'm nust looking for excuses because I cheated myself.

I really need to track big time otherwise I'm not seeing what I've already eaten and say oh ive been pretty good today. O:| O:| only one weigh in left before Xmas. I really hope I dont go wild as I'm not in the groove yet. :o(

Well done mrs sunflower. Back on track. At least it didn't take longer then the week to get it off.

Only seeing this thread now. Have been on a health kick (ish) for the past few weeks though in the run up to xmas. Lost 2 stone with WW a couple of years ago and kept it off for the most part though have 7lbs or so back on. Also had been pretty good at the time with toning up and had lost some of that so prob have a bit more fat on than I did.
Anyway am back at the gym and eating relatively healthy. Back to running on the treadmill and am surprised at how quick I built my times back up (hadn't run in months). After losing 5lbs in the first couple of weeks I seemed to have it back on last week!! However as I can see a change in my shape and lost the bloating, I'm going to overlook that little fact!!.

Ended up drinking and eating loads last night at the party!

I think because its so close to xmas and the all the nights out I'd be happy not to put on any weight from here on in. Might relax a bit and start enjoying the holiday season!!
