Christmas 2011 Motivation and Weightloss Thread

Re: Christmas 2011 Motivation and Weightloss Thread

Hi girls

I missed my class this week as had to get an ogd done that day. I have gastritis and a hiatus hernia and only since the test was done, I have fierce tummy pain after eating my main meal. I am so bloated as well. Have a bad af too, so that is not helping. Will get to class next week and hope to be down a pound if possible but don't know.

Well done chick that's great when you have relaxed to stay the same.

Hope you feel better soon lilmisshopeful.

To the others keep at it or at least keep it in the back of your mind. You don't want to undo all your good work for the sake of one day.

I lost 2 pounds was delighted. I did watch what I ate but only got exercising once. I'm so busy at the mo it's hard to fit it in. Busy week again but I can do the same. Im gonna totally relax at 6pm Xmas eve and then back on straight and narrow the day after Stephens. The ww members mag has some good tips in it for keeping on track (eating only filling food one day).

Keep in touch ladies and keep going strong.

Reel it in chick.

Christmas is only one day. What I am doing. Is I've had a good day (did exercise or ate well) then I can have a treat in the evening (for you a mince pie, luckily I don't really like them) lately as well I've tried having one really good day a week, and have ended up having one bad day with the rest medium. It's working ok. Ww is finished now so it's tough but my leader was saying pretend like we have WI on thurs so gonna try that.

Also decide what Xmas means to you. How much weight gain would you be happy with. For me I want to stay the same. That helps focus.

Chick just think of The heat in Mexico. Any extra pounds will make that really uncomfortable.

I am 1lb up over the last two weeks but kept my stone loss intact. Have been just awfully unhealthy but got back to class yesterday and back on track this morning. Determined to have that pound gone for next week despite Christmas. It is new year I have to be really careful as we are going away for a week. Merry Christmas everyone.

I've been a pig too, despite my good intentions. On Christmas day I decided I was going to eat as i wanted and deal with the consequences. Problem is I am still doing that and according to my scales I am up almost 5lbs since last Wednesday. It's possible! It was worth it though. When sleep deprived I find it a comfort to eat something nice somehow. Will be going to get weighed at class tomorrow and then off to the UK on Saturday morning for a week. I haven't had a drop of alcohol yet but I will on new years eve, so God help me for my weigh in two weeks time.

Well I was up 3lb, so not so bad. I can deal with it when I choose not to eat healthy and it was worth it. It is different not getting the result when you put a big effort in.

Since the wedding I think the chanpagne has gone straight to my ass!!!!!! we're waiting til the summer to go on a big holiday so we took a holiday to lanzarote which was fabulous and really relaxing!!! However, I ate bread and drand captain morgans like it was going out of style!!! :o0

After 2 weeks Im up 4lbs - disgusted but willing to accept it as I really did enjoy myself!!! :-8 Heading to the gym tomorrow with renewed vigour!!!

Part of the honeymoon involves a trip to vegas with 2 other couples, the two ladies are uber slim and definitely 'bikini ready' - so the way I llok at it I have 6months to get to my goal of a bmi of 24. at the moment I'm at 26.

Ladies can I just say I've found this forum brilliant - u were always so giving of advice and support and I really hope it continues in the new yr!! Hope you all have had a lovely christmas and wish you the best for the new yr!!! :thnk :thnk :thnk
