Curves... please give your opinion

Curves... please give your opinion

Postby MrsDr » Wed Oct 12, 2021 4:52 pm

Hi All,

Im thinking of joining Curves about 15mins walk away from me. I need to lose about 1 stone and tone up after baby in June.

Its free joining for the month of Oct and €44/month after that, you can opt out anytime so no obligation!!

What was your experience of curves, would you recommend?
Do they weigh you everytime you go, do they let you go around circuit and your own?

Just need to know the way it works.

Thanks Wollies :thnk

Im very interested in this too.

Just noticed the other day that there is one beside DS's school.

I only have about half a stone to loose and Im stuck... keep going up and down. Im paying ww a tenner a week to weigh me, so I'd probably be better off putting the money into this!!

Let me know if you hear any feed back

i used curves after having my first baby. i found it very good for toning but not verygood for weight loss. i lost 17inches in the first month (from arms, legs, bust, waist, hips, thighs). used it for a few months and then quit due to exteme boredom. it can be quite monotonous.

Hi,

I know the curves circuit set up really well and can honestly say that after a few months, it becomes really boring, your body gets used to the exercise. The machines are all preset at an intensity that you cant change so, if that cant change, how can your body change?

Look at drop in dance/spinning/bootcamp classes near you where there is no commitment and you will get just as good support as you would have in curves.

Hi Girls. I tried curves a few years ago and to be honest I found it extremely boring. The girls who work the gyms are not fitness instructors. They are shop assistants. They cannot answer any questions on diet or fitness. I've recently got a dvd 10 minutes to dance yourself thin and can genuinely recommend it. I've lost 10 pound in 3 weeks. Hope that helps ladies. Good luck with the fat burn. I know its hard.
