Healthy Breakfast Ideas??

Hi All,

I'm trying to loose a few lbs (who isn't!!!) and I really do find that if I eat a breskfast that fills me I pick less and can get through to lunch with just a small snack mid morning. I start work at 07.30am so eat breakfast about 6.45!!!
I've tried porridge 100 times and I'm always hungry, very hungry by 9am. Special K, branflakes, bolied eggs, smoothies....all tried and tested!
The breakfast that really works for me is 2 x wholemeal toast with peanut butter - keeps me full for ages the only thing is Im getting sick of it so i'm just wondering if anyone has any filling suggestions???

delighted to read you are losing your weight. well done. I stick to an omlette/scrambled eggs/boiled eggs etc.

High on protein.

Nice to change it all around like you are doing, but stick to high protein brekkie till you hit your target weight. Hope this helps.

If you've time how about lean grilled bacon, mushrooms, tomato, poached/scrambled/fried egg?? Maybe thats a little much at 6.45am!!
Do you put fruit into your porridge - something like a banana??

I love having a fruit salad with yogurt & a small bit of granola. Chop up all the fruit the night before as this can be time consuming in the morning.
Also love porridge with blueberries & strawberries.
Weetabix with banana chopped up.
Wholemeal toast with poached or boiled egg.

I find if I have a piece of fruit before my breakfast I'm not as hungry. Breakfast for me is at 7am, which consists of fruit and porridge or scrambled eggs and wholemeal toast. My morning break is at 11am and I would normally have a cup of tea, with a yoghurt or cereal bar.
