how long before a wedding should we start our health and fitness programme?

My advice - give yourself as long as you can, so that your not putting yourself under pressure to lose x amount of lbs.
Your better losing weight gradually than all of a sudden, its more sustainable that way.

Ditto to that Last Rolo! Don't focus on the scales Cashel Bride, thats the great advice I have received from many brides to be on here :) Let your focus be on inch loss, i started at the end of september and i've lost over 3inches on my thighs already. I joined a weight loss program in the gym with great trainers guiding us its easy to get motivated. Keeping a food diary is a good thing to do also, it helps you see where you could adjust your diet and portion size is a thing i've started to monitor too, i weigh things now like cereal and rice etc, instead of just piling it into the pot before! and i must say i find its enough as i fill the plate with veg etc then.

hi last rolo and cah5 thanks for your advice. ive started trying to be healthy and am exercising now. i need to buy a measuring tape to measure myself and work out the weightloss that way instead of jumping on the scales all the time. Im also wathcing my portions. thanks again :wv
