LIGHTED HEADED FEELING AND LIKE A TENSION HEADACHE AFTER RUN

Hi,
Just wondering do a small bit of running but ran the furthest i have ever ran which was 5 miles the other day, but knew i was doing it a few days beforehand and had planned my route,drank water for the few days beforehand and that day aswell. But afterwards felt light headed and afer it had something to eat straight away and drank some more water afterwards. But still had to take to 2 Paracetomel after about 2 hours O:| O:| . its really frustrating as i thought i was hydrated enough, it is like i am really light headed and get a tension headache by my temples.
Any feed-back would be great. :thnk :thnk :wv :wv

Brideofjune have you ever felt dizzy while you're out on the run or is it just when you stop?

Do you just 'stop' running when you're finished or do you slow down first?
A cool down period where you slow down to jogging and then a brisk walk is advisable to slowly readjust your heart rate and breathing.

Heya!
Could be an electrolyte problem either. I know its pretty cold at the moment but if you sweat at all, water isnt enough to rehydrate you, as you would have lost sugar/salt in sweat. Even lots of water can further dilute you electrolytes. So you may need a sports drink after, I found I was having that problem after running, id feel abit ill a while after and get a head ache the isotonic drinks sorted it out....!!
