SW or WW??

SW or WW??

Hi girls,

I really need to get off my backside and start loosing weight. With 4.5 months to the big day I would love to lose 2-3 stone.

Due to a busy lifestyle and travelling a lot with work, I will only be able to follow an online programme.

Which would you recommend? SW or WW?

I am doing WW & find it fantastic & very easy to follow. I have heard of people doing SW who have done brilliantly also. Only reason I went for WW really is because there is no SW in Cork. I have lost 1 stone 8.5lbs in WW & have just 3.5lbs to go to goal.

SW for me..

having tried and failed at WW several times, i joined SW in april and by the time i went back to work in july had lost almost 2 stone. never felt like i was dieting or that i had to count points or couldn't eat something. it is very easy to do once you understand it and the groups are great.

my mum started going before me, and she lost 3 stone in the first 12 months and has managed to keep it off and looks great. she was also a WW failure!

SW for me too Dr Dia!!!

I am a former weight watcher , lost just under two stone about 2 years ago but of course put it all back on!!! I decided to go back earlier this year and found that it had all changed with the pro-points... I suppose I was just so used to the old plan and the points of everything I couldn't get my head around the new one at all!!!
In WW I only ever lost a lb a week which I thought was great, the slower it comes off the more chance it will stay off etc!

A few friends recommended SW and all I was hearing was how much weight they were losing so decided to give it a go.. I've lost 5.5lbs in 2 weeks (3rd weigh in tonight fingers crossed for me :)!!!)

I find it so much easier to follow than WW... There is no weighing of food and you can pretty much eat what you like (within reason :-8 )... I find it's main focus is on super free food essentially fruit and veg so if you are a fruit and veg lover you will find it a piece of cake!

Edited to say: Just read the last part of your post again! When you Join SW you are given a password for the website and I have to say It's great.... Lots of receipes and really good articles etc.... I think you may need to attend a class to begin with to join and get the password but I'm not 100% sure on that!
