Week2 day 2 didn't happen this morning because I was glued to the bed! Couldn't think of anything worst than having to get up! So will go this evening after work. Not going to start missing days cause that is a slippery slope for me!
Boyfriend went into lidl this morning and got me some things. They didn't have any jackets in small or medium, strange! Got trousers, top and socks. Will be my motivation for going out tonight!
I am wrecked since starting this. Am waiting for a big burst of energy, hopefully energy levels will go up soon!
How is everyone else getting on?

Just back from my run on Week 7 day 1, my god it was tough, but never thought I'd be able to run 25mins without stopping. Feel great after it though. Only doing it on the treadmill in the gym, but hoping to take to the roads soon now that the weather seems to be getting better.

I also went to Lidl to buy some of the running gear, they had very little left, but I did get the socks, bottoms & tips.

Gingerwhinger we have all had bad weeks, mine seemed to be week 4, thought I'd never get passed it & here I am on week 7. Just get back of that couch & get back into it. You can do it.

Completely relate to that Mismatch! Don't be too hard on yourself Gingerwhinger. Some weeks will may not go to plan but that is apparently the way running goes. I went for a run today and felt like I just didn't have the same energy and had to cut my run a bit shorter than usual. I will try again tomorrow or Saturday. My legs just felt so heavy!
I've been told that it is important to do what you can and if you can't go for a run for a while don't worry but when you feel ready again go for it! It won't take too much to get back into it when you are up for it again. Hope you are feeling better!

Hey girls! Managed to go for my run yesterday evening. Was v tired, sore throat and hormonal. OH was great to help me get me out, he walked with me for part of it (he can't run). Said I would go on the walk and see how I felt. Felt much better after the brisk warm up so did the run. So that is Wk2 D2 complete! Felt great when I was finished and slept like a log last night.
MRS2b2012 - well done on finishing the first week, it is so hard to get started!
Mismatch - 25 minutes, I can't imagine when I am going to be running that far. Well done!
Ghan - good advice!

Got advice from a friend who runs marathons - You never regret the runs you do, only the runs you don't!

Finished Wk3 D1 today. Ran for 3 minutes! Shocked myself when I wasn't dying. Was going into the wind so it wasn't much fun for first half. The second half was much better, was surprised when I was finished. Found having 4 runs much easier than stopping and starting of last week.
Was a bit queasy after the run but that was probably dehydration as I ate a lot pop corn last night before bed and didn't drink much water.
One of my friends is doing the mini marathon so will do it with her, exciting! Have to do it now, I know I can't afford to skip a week so it's extra motivation!

Hey ladies, how are you getting on? Gingerwhinger, hope your feeling better now & are able to get back into it.

So I've completed week 7 Day 3 today. Found it hard enough to get into the run, but once I did I really enjoyed it. Can't believe I can run 25mins without stopping. Its amazing.

Also down another 1.5lb today in weight watchers. Back into the jeans I was wearing before I got pregnant.

Blue I am also doing the Mini Marathon, although not planning on running it as its a group of us doing it & none of them run. But really looking forward to it

Hey girls, went for a walk at the weekend which ended with me jogging about 2.5km. Was delighted I did it and felt so much better after doing it. Did week 8 day 2 yesterday, thought I was gonna pass out on the treadmill so after about 24 mins I gave up, went outside to cool down and ended up running about another 5-6 mins around my garden. My neighbours if they'd seen me probably thought I was a loony!! So getting back into the swing of things now.
Well done on the weight loss mismatch, I was up a lb last week so I've restarted the diet again this week. Glad to hear everyone is getting on well.
Not doing the mini marathon but I'm doing a 10k run in April for charity so gonna try and do at least one run on the road a week to get myself ready for that. Don't think I'll be able for the whole 10k but I'll try my best
And I want to recommend Floradix to anyone feeling run down, it's excellent and I felt great and loads more energy after a couple of days taking it.

Mrs2be2012, you have enough time, you'll be able to loose it, positive thinking !! (and lots of soup ;-) ) No real tips, as I find it very hard to target weight/inc loss in specific areas, but maybe add another activity on some of the days you're not doing C25K ? I find swimming good

I got back on track this morning with W7D2...was surprised that after not running for 10 days I was able for it, but it wasn't too bad !

Thanks CurlySu... :) trying to be positive. Have lost 3 pounds since Friday so it seems to be working so hopefully it keeps going in that direction.
Well done by the way on getting back at it... Fair play.

Well done on the weight loss mismatch! Ginget whinger - hehe, you must have looked loony doing laps of your garden. Sometimes I get back quicker to house than expected on my runs and end up walking up and down the road looking mental!
Mrs2be2012 - stick to healthy eating for the next while. Loads of water as well. I find giving up drink for a few weeks really helps as well. Swimming would be great to melt inches from waist. Any cardio is good! Maybe sneak in exercise where you can? Stairs instead of lift, walk instead of drive. Go for walks on weekend instead of cinema. Keep active and you will be fine!
Didn't manage wk3 d2 this morning. Am always wrecked on Thur morning so I think I will change that run to a Friday morning. Never going to happen on a Thursday! At least on a Friday it is practically the weekend so that will get me moving!

Disaster of a weekend! Didnt do a tap of exercise but plenty of sitting around eating! Didn't drink much or go out so have no excuse except laziness!
Did week 3 day 2 yesterday after a slight delay! Went well, enjoyed it. Went in the evening and flew round so was good. Morning runs are great for time but soo hard to get up. Didn't find the 3 minute run too bad, got into the pace for the first time and wasn't worrying about my legs hurting or getting out of breath.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Well done Curlysu, running 20 minutes is a massive achievement! Never mind having to stop for a few seconds, think everyone has a hard point to get over. Maybe you were low on sugar? A sweet or something in your pocket might help next time!
I finished week 3, thankfully! Found it hard going. Had lunch about 5 hours before and it was sitting heavy in my stomach. Just felt v heavy. Also think I was going way too fast, need to pace myself more.
Am looking forward to going to a park to do week 4 day one at the weekend. Running on the road is fine and v handy but gets a bit boring. Also there is a hill that I always manage to get to at the end of my last run and it is horrible to run up!
