Well Done Gingerwhinger, 3.5lbs is brill. Yeah its hard to get motivated, but it has to be done.
Is everyone else doing the running on the roads, or anyone else like me doing it on the treadmill?

Have done w2d2 today, hoping to get again sat or sun

Well done Gingerwhinger - that's brilliant. Was thinking of you when I was watching Operation Transformation last night - were you out walking with that big group that walked with Adrian?

Mismatch - I'm running on the roads - I much prefer it to the threadmill - a little bit more interesting.

I walked for an hour last night as I've appointments every second night this week to sort out an issue with my back so I was told not to run last night. Might go this evening before my back appointment. The walking was good too though.

Im doing a mix of both roads and treadmill! Monday was threadmill, Tuesday was roads, yesterday was threadmill again, and if I dont get to Zumba tonight then I will be going for a run on the road. Think next week Im going to have to do Week 5 again, I havent got the stamina to to 20 mins solid just yet! I know I would have to stop!
Awh I missed OT last night... Im half raging too cuz I couldnt sign up for the run!!
Diet is good, scales not coming down, but my clothes are fitting me better and the bloat is coming down!! so its always a good sign!!

Good girl Ginger, 3.5 lb down well done :-)

I'm running a bit on the road, and a bit around our local park. At the minute, I'm the only person there at 7am, I suppose when it gets brighter in the morning, there'll be more people. The gyms where I live only open at 10am, so treadmill is out for me (and I live in a smallish apartment so have no room for one at home) .

Mission for this weekend : buying the decent running shoes !! its going to be a battle, the january sales only start this week here (in France), so the shops are going to be mobbed !! I'm just hoping the bargain-hunters stay away from the sports shops ;-)

shootingstar, how do you find zumba ? i hear an awful lot of people going to it, but i've never tried

Curlysu, last night was my first time at it!! It def showed me I have no dance sense at all!! but it was a bit of craic!! MIL2B asked me to go with her and Im glad she did, I really enjoyed it!! I was very sore from bootcamp on wed but the Zumba seems to have loosened me out a bit which is great!!

I think ill have to invest in a good pair of running shoes too, my shin splints are starting to come back, so I need to learn how to land properly on my foot and with good runners they will absorb the force too.

we are off on a weekend away this weekend so there will be no training done! so hope you all have a great weekend and ill check back in on Monday!!!

Finished W1 this morning, very happy with myself ;-). I thought that i'd double up on every week, and do the program in 18 weeks instead of 9, but I think I'm going to drive ahead with W2 next week, I think i should manage it. Very scared of Week 5 and the 20 minute run though !!
Have a good weekend girls !

hey girls, feel great about the weight loss but havent done any exercise since Tuesday, i've been sick all week. (i'm a right moan bag at the moment! :-8 )
feeling alot better today so i'm going to give it a shot tonight and see how i get one.

yeah Belcra i was out walking with Adrian on tuesday night but it was a different night they had shown on the telly. going to go again tonight and try and do c25k along the route. my cousin is doing it as well but she's a week or 2 ahead of me so i'm going to use her tonight to push myself along!

mismatch i have being doing it on the treadmill too, find it easier than running on the roads but i miss the fresh air while running outside so i've decided i'm going to do both form now on.
how is everyone else getting on?

Hi all, away with work this week and food has not been good. No exercise either as was getting my back 'fixed'. Have to get my act together fast again!! Was showing a pic of my dress to somebody earlier and have some work to do yet to get back to the size I was when I ordered it and I'd like to lose another stone besides. Hope you are all being more successful than me?

did W2D2 this morning, so far so good. The new decent runners make a difference, but at the minute its freeeeezing in the mornings so i'm wrapped up in 25 different layers to try and keep warm :eek :eek

Not seeing a lot in the line of weight loss, maybe 1lb / 1.5 lb since I started, but I'm not doing WW or any slimming programme along with the C25K, just trying to eat reasonably healthy

Hi All, not doing great. Had to take a break as was having trouble with my back. Hoping to get back into it this week. I'd have loved to do some running this weekend but was at the personal trainer Friday night and in pain ever since. Joined a gym though so went to the pool yesterday to help the sore muscles and intend running on the treadmill a few days a week as I think road running will just cause more damage. Prob a bit safer than running in the dark anyway.

belcra, sorry to hear you're having trouble, a break would probably be a good idea, and swimming should do you a world of good !
Started W3D1 this morning, the 3 minute run is tough alright, but i find that its my muscles that are suffering, i'm not gasping for breath...I thought it would be the other way around, whenever I've done exercise before, i tend to be out of breath faster !

Thanks curlysu. Went to the gym tonight and did 40 mins on the treadmill. Changed to week 4 of a 10k program and that involves run 3 mins walk 2 mins. It was tough for the first 2 runs but got easy after that. My back was a little bit sore but got an appoint, ent tomorrow eve so all see what happens there. Really want to just get running regularly.
