slimming world v's unislim

Hi everyone im looking for advice... I am a member of unislim and i had joined in sept i was 1lb off a stone gone but the last week of it was cancelled and since then over the xmas ive not stopped eating and probably put back on the stone again :( its starting to get to me now as im getting married on June 1st and have a lot to loose at least 2 stone any recommendations? shouls i stick with unislim or try slimming world?

Hi Lezah. Try and not lose heart i know its very hard. To be honest i don't know if uni slim is much use. Have you triedlimming world or weight watchers i belive they have a far bigger success rate. Just keep believing in yourself and don't give up. Pully in knickers is always a possiblity.. ha ha .. You can do it pet.

Hi Lezah

I've never tried unislim, but SW is very good. There is a BIG long thread about it at the top of the Health & Fitness forum, which will give you an idea of what's involved. It's an easy plan to follow, and it doesn't involve a lot of buying special food etc. I've done WW before and find SW much easier.

I joined Slimming World three months ago and never looked back. I lost 1.5 stone in 12 weeks. Slimming World doesn't take a break over Xmas, so I had weight in over Xmas and although I did put on 2lbs, it made me keep it all in check - and I didn't go too mad.

If there is a Slimming World class beside you, I would recommend that you give it a try. You'll be amazed how easy it can be done. I'd usually have the willpower of a giddy puppy but I'm doing so well on this plan as its more of a realistic healthy eating plan (i.e still able to have treats and go to the chinese!) than a diet.

Thats good to know Lastrolo and brill weightloss, would be delighted if had that....just joined onlIne this evening as wouldnt make the classes so all set for off & feeling v.motivated.... :o)ll

Have you any tips and also quick q-how many syns in Erin savoury rice? cant find it anywhere... :wvi

The Irish Daily Mirror are running a Slimming World Supplement from Saturday - Tuesday this week. Its meant to include lots of eating plans and recipes, motivation, Food optimising ideas and Inspirational stories..

Daily Mirror is only €1 so might be worth checking it out!
