Weight watcher Question, can someone answer?

Weight watcher Question, can someone answer?

Postby wwwife » Wed Jan 04, 2022 6:47 pm

Hi I joined ww on tus and still trying to figure out the pro points I starting to get it now,
My Question is -- Do you have to use the 49 extra points every week and do you have to use your exercise points? It just seems to be loads of points I dont see how I can loose weight if I do it that way.

Thanks

Hi wwwife,

No you don't HAVE to use the 49 points but they are available to you if you have a night out or a bad day etc... As for the exercise points - I generally tried not to use them so that I could boost my weight loss but you can if you need to. I think the only thing you HAVE to do is eat at least 16-20 points a day or else you would be very unhealthy and not getting enough nutrition for your body (I could be wrong with that figure btw - it could be more).

The extra points are there for people who find it really hard to stick to their daily allowance all the time - the difference between the old system and the new system is that you can't carry points over from day to day so your flexi points are there for that if you know what I mean?

I'd say if you ate what you normally eat on a given day and took note of it all (I mean everything) and then pointed it afterwards - I guarantee that most people eat a lot more than the allowance you are given with ww, you just don't realise it at the time.

I loathe to think how many points I've eaten today already and I haven't even had dinner yet O:| so don't worry it does work and you will become a much more conscious eater as a result - just keep at it. Good luck :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll

Ah thanks for your reply, I could not stay the full meeting the other day as I got a call to get back to the kids so I never found out, a few people had said you had to eat every point I just didnt want to do that way to many.
I dont even use my exercise points like yourself so that I can help my weight loss, Good luck with your weight loss and thanks again :thnk

Hey wwwife

Peacockgirl has it right there, you use ALL your daily points and then its up to you what you do with the 49. I don't use my activity points at all - and usually each week I use maybe 15-20 of my weekly points. The weekly points are for your treats - your glass of wine on a sat/vat of captain morgans! :-8
I've been at ww since June and have lost 41lbs so it definitely does work!!! eat away at the points!!!!!! :o)ll
