Easter 2012 motivation!!!

Hey ladies, lost 2lbs :o)ll

although I had to go to a morning class so she said it could be about 1-1.5lbs difference so I still lost. An on morning classes for the next 3 weeks so it will stable a bit.

How is everyone else doing ?

I've been mental busy the past few weeks, have been tracking away but with all the nights out and copious bottles of wine I stayed the same :-8

. I was actually really happy with that, each week i was dreading getting on the scales! for the past 3 weeks ive used all my daily points and my 49 weekly and when I do that I just don't lose anything!

Have been like a woman possesed this week, uped the exercise with 8km walks and 15km cycles and have just been eating my daily points and very few of my weekly so I'm hoping for 1 lb this week! :-8

I'm doing the operation Transformation 5km run next week with one of my pals hoping to do it in 35mins but don't know how busy its going to be or how many runners as opposed to walkers there will be? But sure Ill keep u posted!

Hi Gaff, you sound very motivated, well done. That's a great amount of cycling. I walk a lot but need some higher impact so looking to buy a second hand treadmill and hopefully do C25K.

I had my WI this eve, down 2lbs so delighted. Gonna put in big effort this week to try and get another 2lb next week and be down a stone.

Hope ye are all getting on well girls.

Anyone have any good low fat recipes for something different??

Well done gaff. Your flying with the exercise. Hopefully you managed to shift a few this week with all the exercise. I think staying the same when your busy is great because it's def a difference if you were doubt what you used to do you would prob be up a few pounds.

Well done lady gaga. That's a great steady weight loss. Keep it up for this week too. Nearly at the stone :o)ll

Sorry cant think of any recipies. I generally live on omelettes, soups, chicken and roast veg. Very boring. Had a mushroom risotto the other day from a ww book that was nice and easy to do.

I've had an odd week. Plenty of exercise at the beginning. Two nights of big drinking at the weekend. Have been on midterm this week so off routine. Been very lazy and not eating enough. Having 2 meals a day and they are generally healthy. So WI tomorrow will be interesting. Have hurt my ankle too which doesn't help.

Good luck with WI tomorrow night Drummerswife, it could be one of those weeks that surprise you.

Do any of you keep an eye on your own scales during week or just wait for WI?

From the Unislim recipes I have made the spag bol and chilli con carne and both are lovely and I will prob always make them like that now whether dieting or not. I have also tried out turkey burgers which were actually lovely. It was just turkey mince, low fat natural yoghurt, onion, curry powder, mango chutney and I think there was some cajun spice in there too. If anyone wants it, I can post exact measurements. I cheated a little and threw in couple of handfuls of breadcrumbs to make it easier to make them into patties.

Its tough going girls but I feel like I have no choice at this stage and have to do something about my weight or else ye will see me soon on one of those "50 stone women" programs on TV3 :o0

Well girls, Just back from ww and thank God I'm down 1and 1/2lbs!! delighted :o)ll

So relieved! It just felt that I was stuck at the same weight for 3 weeks which even though I was busy it was was very frustrating!!!
So i'm totally enjoying a curly wurly and a glass of vino!! :o0

Well done on the 2lbs Lady gaga - sounds like your in the zone!! :o0

I was down 1lb this morning. Im happy cos its down but just wish it was going faster. H2b is a real slim jim now and everyone is commenting on how well he looks and no one has said it to me :o(

Now in fairness he is working hard and I couldnt do it.

Lady gaga. I used to weigh at the weekend to just check how i was going but my weighing scales is broken so haven't been doing it in awhile. NOt sure which is better.

Off for a pamper session with my mammy in the k club now as my treat.

1 lb a week is very realistic!!!

Did the operation transformation 5 km yesterday - they looked brilliant!! Poor Natalie was definitely struggling but it was lovely to hear people calling out encouragement!!! I did it in 33 mins which i was delighted with, there was a hill at the 3rd km which nearly killed me!!! :-8

Lady gaga I totally check my weight half way through the week, I wouldnt be able to go to ww not having some idea how i did cos at least if im up I can take it on the chin with some dignity!!!! :-8

Well done to you doing the 5k and in a great time too. You should see the results of that this week.

We were away this weekend (maryborough house in cork, well recommend it) but me and h2b were just saying the difference in our behaviours compared to last year. Now we ate and drank but we would have eaten far far worse in the past. And for the first time in our recent lives we used a hotel gym. Went for a run yesterday and swim today. Would have gone to the pool in the past but just had fun today we swam then chilled. Feel so good today. We actually had an amazing weekend and I do think our moods are better now that we're being healthy. All good.

Sorry i havent been on girls! I spent the weekend throwing up and sleeping so not good, today though i am back on d diet. Starting weight is 13stone 9pounds.. Im not sure how many weeks till easter as ive been living in a bubble the last few weeks .. ;o(

Will do weekly weigh in on a fri , will post tomorrow to get back into routine again! :o)ll

Chick good luck with the weigh in this week. Drummerswife fair play to you and OH for being good while away and exercising. I was away as well but can't say I was good, was not as bad as would normally be but still not good. Gaff well done on OT run, poor Natalie - I'd say she can't wait till its all over. Looking forward to seeing the finale tomorrow night. Last year I really didn't think the girls were wearing dresses that suited them in the finale. Don't know if RTE deck them out or they pick themselves.

Well girls have only had a so so week and after a feed of pancakes I am expecting to be up tomorrow night. Good job it is the start of lent, big push now for easter!!

Thanks lady gaga just a pity I couldn't carry it forward to the rest of the week. Went back to work mon so felt sorry for myself sunday night with no run (i dont think my swim was quite enough), Monday was good food wise but no exercise. Yesterday has my normal Brekkie, and a banana and then 4 small and 2 large pancakes with a mixture of toppings (not all healthy) and no exercise. Felt very bloated last night. Don't think it's gonna be a good week :o(

Morning girls! Thanks for all the well wishes, im back in swinging form now :o0

How many weeks left girls? Ok so yesterday i wasnt particularly good or bad, i did have a few pancakes! :o0

Going for a big long walk today, prob about an hour. Not sure how fast il go, i think its just more for fresh air than anything!Its great that the evenings are getting long and we can start going for wlks when h2b finishes work.. :xox

So on todays menu is pancakes for brekkie(leftover from yest, dont kill me :o0

) For lunch im having a glenisk low fat greek yogurt with fruit and for dinner im having homemade chili with a lil rice. Water, water ,water all the way too :o)ll
