Fitness Buddy Wanted!

Re: Fitness Buddy Wanted!

Thats crap, you would think they would limit there classes to somthing reasonable... Had a look and they do one in integra gym and energie gym in drogheda, might look into them!!!

Im more looking forward to our 10 nights over the west lol, no kids or dog lol (pure bliss), we are getting the boat over to Frances so should be great crack... I love Greece, I was there a few times, some fabulous Islands really beautiful... I wont fly any more, when I was about 19 had a horrible flight with Ryanair to Paris and it turned me off flying for years, finally got back when I was about 23 and travelled loads of places, then last May we all went to Lanzarote for 2 weeks with Ryanair (should of known better) and I hated it, the whole two weeks I was sick with worry about having to come home (even looking at boat trips back lol) the whole holiday was ruined for me.... so this year its all about the boats (we're not even going to mention the sinking one recently!!!)...

I work mornings so cant do morning classes, might look into the 3.30 one, I work in Donore so it would be handy... could get some stuff done that day.... I totally agree with the meassurements, I know I have toned up on my arms already and my tummy a good bit (loads more to go) but when I weighted myself its saying the same grrrr think it might be broke :o0 , I only do 45 sit ups in the gym, I never did them before and cant believe the difference from doing that... ok I may not have the whole 4 pack just yet but can see something lol...

I got my dress from Protocol in Drogheda, tried a few different places, including the one in Ardee... they where closing down at the time and selling everything off for E350, but I had already fallen in love with the one in Drogheda... My soon to be SIL got her dress there though.... lol wasnt even engaged at the time lol.... (was well on the cards) just think if id of come home with a wedding dress to Brian lol he probably would of left :yelrotflmaosmilie:

Do you have any children?? any plans for any/anymore?? where did you get your dress from??

No kids yet, but definitely planning on having them in the next year or two.
Some days I'm very broody and then others I decide I'm never having them, but I've promised the OH we will by the time he's 30 and my Mum would never forgive me if I didn't give her a grandchild!
Need to get college out the way first, I couldn't do it with a child.

I got my dress from Modern Fashions in Dundalk.
I fell in love with one in the Bridal Shop in Drogheda (opposite Bru) but it was over 2.5k, I just couldn't justify it!
But then the one I ended up buying was almost identical so I was very lucky to find it.

45 sit ups is brilliant, I can only do about 5 and I don't think I'm even doing them properly - it kills my neck so I must be doing it wrong :duh:
Do you do squats at all? They're supposedly great for quick toning of the legs and bum, that's where I need the most help!
I had a cheese sandwich and a packet of crisps for lunch today. I'm still slightly hungover from Saturday so I had to have the carbs. I've been reading about SW today, I'm amazed at the stuff you can eat! This is definitely going to be my kind of diet! :o0

I am so exhausted today, Had NO interest in going to the gym, but dragged myself out of the bed, was so tired thought I was going to faint today... the novelty has wore off me going to the gym and I am wrecked.... Came home from work today and went straight to bed and slept for over two hours :-8 and could have stayed there for a lot longer... Hoping that helped... only 89 days left to go lol... If it hasnt killed me my then....

Your so right to wait to have children, I had them when I was only a baby myself... hit the big 3 0 last year, I am older then Brian by 2 days so of course the abuse I get in the house lol... I found it very difficult to study with the two of them and it ended up taking a lot longer then expected... dont think I could go back again... we said we might have one more (my legitimate child lol), I will really enjoy it now though and think I can be a much better mam:)

2.5k is rediculous, when I was looking at dresses I couldnt believe what people where telling me they paid, my SIL paid 4.5, it was a fab dress but just as nice as the ones I saw for 1k!!! Brian keeps tell me with the amount I spent on mine that I have to wear it to mass every Sunday lol... men :yelrotflmaosmilie:

I am really crap at situps too, but the instructor only has me lifting my shoulders so not coming up all the way lol, but have to say its working... I have never tried doing squats, I think the instructor is going to give me more of the machines to do this week... so will mention that to him...

I started booking our Irish honeymoon yesterday, heading to Kilronin Castle in Roscommon, then think to Galway for 3 nights, then to clare for a few nights and maybe stay in atlone on our way back up... so excited, cant believe how expensive it is working it, it would be much cheaper to go on a two week holiday to spain... its mad...

you looking forward to SW tonight?? where you good today? what night is Zumba on??

Ireland is ridiculously expensive, it's a rip off! But it's an amazingly beautiful country so well worth travelling around, you'll have a fabulous time.

I was supposed to join SW tonight and I can't as I have to go into college >:o( I'm so annoyed, It will have to wait until next week now. Damn it.

I've been eating OK - not fantastic, but OK - I'm eating a lot of curry! It's so easy to make and not a lot of fat, and I eat it with just a tiny bit of rice. And I made spaghetti bolognese with Quorn the other night, it actually tastes nicer than mince! You wouldn't know it wasn't meat.
I had a carvery lunch yeterday, roast beef, as I was at a training day so I made a pig of myself then - but it counted as my dinner as well as I had college so it wasn't too bad! :innocent:

I find it hard to be good on the days I have college as I like to eat a big lunch, this is why I'm looking forward to joining SW as it will guide me on how to eat well and still be full up.

The girl I work with went to Brussels in the week for a conference and came in this morning with tons of Belgium chocolates :duh: they're just sitting here looking at me! This will be a good test of my willpower :o0

You need to have a day off from the gym now and again, you can't do it everyday - your muscles need to chance to rest. You'll feel grand for a having a day or two off. Could you maybe go for a swim instead for a change? Is there a pool where you go?

Think I will join SW with you next week... I could do with a better diet....

Sally, this is A M A Z I N G !!!!!

That is an increditble achievement, you must be over the moon!
Well done you O-O

It would be great if we were both doing SW, we could really support each other then.
I was reading about a book in Stellar yesterday that's about running, it's similar to the counch to 5k and is meant to be great. So I'm going to order that on Wednesday when i get paid and I'm also ordering some proper Asics running shoes. So next week is the week it's all starting!

I had a cheese sandwich today which was bad (but all I had in the fridge at work!) and a Muller light and an apple - I'm not sure what I'll be having for dinner, I fancy some fish so I'll have to see whats in Tesco.

I have college tomorrow and need to study >:o( so it's not going to be a very exciting weekend for me!

The dress fittings are so exciting, you'll have a great day. Fingers crossed the dresses look fab!

Will you get to the gym over the weekend? And did you find a class for SW, at the time you wanted?

Muller light are free in SW, im always eating them, have to make lunches this week as I am working in two different places... my boss is going on holidays and asked me to cover her, so its going to kill me going straight from work to another job :hic and through the gym in there to just push me over the edge lol....

will look into classes, might try stick with the one I have been at in BoyneValley on Thursday, there is a good group.

are you in College every sat?? I am not going any where near the gym till monday lol, I am so exhausted, want to do my hair properly too and my tan (dove), going around last two weeks like a frizzy white cow :yelrotflmaosmilie: been having a quick shower after gym then throwing makeup on, hair up and out the door...

do you get out much? where would you go?? Its Brian and my anniversary this Monday... my last one as a "single girl", its mad, so ment to be heading to Scholars for dinner (tradition now)... your first anniversary soon... god what where you worrying about this time last year lol...

I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 3 pounds since Wednesday BUT unfortunately it was down to the mother of all tummy bugs over the weekends and not hard work! :o0

I was so ill, woke up on Saturday morning vomiting, had to miss college and spend the weekend in bed.
Was so bad that the hubs had to leave work early to come home and look after me bless him.

Anyway, how was your anniversary dinner? What is the Scholars like, I've never been but heard that it's nice.
We go up to Carlingford anytime we have an anniversary or celebration, either there or Darver Castle.
We don't get out much these days, rarely seem to have any spare money!

I thought we'd be rich after the wedding as we wouldn't have to save each month, but it didn't really work out that way - god only knows where our money goes these days.

What did you have to eat when you were out, were you good or did you just sat Feck it, we're celebrating! :o0

Thats poo that you have to work extra hours, but on the bright side it's more money for the wedding and honeymoon so think positive! It won't kill you to give up the gym for a few days, just make you eat well for the days you're not there and you'll be fine.

I'm really looking forward to joining SW this week, was getting some food advice from my friend that's doing it and she eats loads, although the weight is dropping off of her. I get paid on Wednesday too so I can go and do a shop for all the foods I need.

We should meet up for a walk or a jog one night if you fancy it? As you're only down the road from me. Maybe after you've finished covering for your boss?

you poor thing, how you feeling now?? ah that was so sweet of him to come home to mind you...

We never went out to the scholars in the end, went to Dvine in Drogheda, there steak is amazing... but this weekend we're staying sat night in the city north hotel. There is a band named Juicer playing there and thats who we got for our wedding so thought it would be nice... then the hotel is having there wedding fair on the sunday so we can have a look around:) we never usually get out, usually our nights our are around weddings now lol... we where only in one a few weeks ago in Darver Castle, my first time there it was fabulous, loved the room..

Oh no My plan is to be rich after the wedding too lol... thinking exactly the same... have nothing now and was blaiming the wedding...

I started off so good this week, Monday got up and went to the gym and at the end of my session I had a few mins to spare so decided to try this new weights machine!!! and I done my back in :duh: felt like crying, so for the last two days I have not been able to bend and everything is so painful...never got the the gym today then... was lying in bed wishing I could be there. Hoping to get there tomorrow and maybe do a swim.

Im now working in the other place this week for the afternoon, one of the girls in there has done SW a few times but lost 4 stone the first time, she has started back on it now so Im watching her lunches lol... Im going to wait till next week to join, Im barely getting to see the kids and Brian this week.

Yeah would love to meet up for a walk, Im usually quite flexible, Just let me know when and where.... definetly when boss is back:) Ill be lucky to get home and play with the kids for an hour before falling asleep otherwise lol....

D'Vine is lovely, we went there last year and really enjoyed it.

How's your back today? It's typical, you try and do the right thing by working out and end up hurting yourself - this has happened to me a few times, and then it's really hard to get the motivation back after a few days off.

Could you maybe try something like Pilates, it would give your back a good stretch and tone it all up.
I done a course last year before the wedding and it was so relaxing, it didn't feel like a workout at all.

I joined SW last night, at last! Just had my first healthy breakfast, a Mullerlight yoghurt with a punnet of blueberries and a banana. I have 2 Ryvitas for my lunch with low fat Laughing Cow and some ham slices.

I've also been drinking lots of water this week, somthing I never do, and my skin is really soft which is amazing as it's normally dry.

I'll look forward to meeting up for a walk and hearing all about the wedding plans, let me know when you've finished covering for your boss and we can arrange a day that suits us both :wv

Back is so much better, Thank God its sat lol, I do not know how people work full time lol... Think it nearly killed me this week lol....

Was back in the gym on wednesday so I got 4 days in this week, I have a home made countdown calender till the wedding 79 days today lol, so I mark that off everyday, the time is going by very quick, my dress is in in less then two weeks so I think that is definetly motivating me... and our chats of course (wouldnt of got off my ass in the first place if hadnt seen your post)...

I must look into Pilates, I did Yoga last year... have to admit was shocked at how difficult it was, I loved it but I think everyone thinks its where you just sit there and do some breathing lol... I had muscles ache I did not know exsisted lol.... I did them with Brians sister in Aura for 6 weeks but then she didnt want to do it again... Im really bad unless I have somebody to meet or go with, I get lazy :-8

well done you joining SW, how are you finding the weekend?? I have to admit that would be my struggle, But two of the girls from work joined last week and one of them who really does not have a lot of weight to lose at all lost 6 and a half pound her first week... its mad... have you tried any of the meals?? I love the italian meetballs... make sure you do your online graph, its great when you see it going down:)

Im working full time again most of next week, But only mornings the following week Mon 27, I can do any day that week except Tuesday:) Brian does an evening course... What time would you be thinking of??

Monday nights are best for me, it's the only night I'm free!
I can drive over your way on my way home and meet you around 6pm.

So the next Monday you're free let me know *)

SW is going really well. I'm not sure if I've lost anything, but I have bags of energy!
It must be all the fruit and veg I'm eating, and I haven't eaten bread at all which is really good for me as I normally have it every day.

I feel quite bloated though, I think it's just my belly getting used to the fruit and veg, I don't normally each much and now I'm eating my 5 a day before 9am! I'm drinking a lot more water too so I'm just waiting to see the benefits now.

Me and the OH are going to Sligo for the weekend on Saturday morning, I booked it as a surprise for his birthday.
There's a walk that starts outside the hotel and goes all along the coast and back to the hotel in a circle, takes about an hour, so I'll try and do that the 2 days I'm there. We love walking so I'd say we'll be out all weekend on the beach if the weathers nice, so this should help me shift a couple of pounds!

Regarding Pilates/Yoga, my MIL goes to a lady in Duleek.
She has a purpose built yoga studio built in her house and she is meant to be fantastic.
Her website is http://www.yogaboann.com/, might be worth a look for somewhere local to you!
She does all different types of yoga, I'd love to go over to her myself but just don't have the time.

Only 2 weeks until your dress is in! That's great motivation for you, you must be so excited.
I nearly wet myself when I finally got my dress, it's a strange feeling when you put it on - you're kind of standing this thinking this is my wedding dress...I'm actually getting married in this exact dress!!

Ok, I know I should be so motivated with the dress fitting coming up, I missed the gym Monday, went this morning, but all I have been doing is completely pigging out.... Drank On Friday night (lots O-O ) Then Sat wasnt to bad, but sunday went to the City North wedding fair and completely pigged out on all the fab desserts they had there, then went home and drank and ate more crap.... Dont know what has knocked me... but Cant stop buying chocolate etc.... need to stop... im always so good for so many weeks then break, so need to just get the finger out and cop on!!! O:| back to my normal hours at work next week so Im hoping i will have more energy then... weight in on friday too :duh:

Can meet up this Monday if your up for it... Could prob do with an actual kick in the ass lol.... Im in Bettystown but can meet up where ever??? you will have to take it easy on me lol... I dont do running:)

Thats great your doing well with SW, I found giving up Bread made a huge difference to how I felt, But by week two or three I was craving it really bad, so just make sure you have planned ahead as I always found that much better... The other thing I found with it was I felt great on there diet, but as soon as I ate any rice I felt really bloated. could eat all the paste, potatoes and meat just no rice... weight in tomorrow... so exciting cant wait to hear how you get on...:)

That sounds like a fab weekend.... its great to get away for a few nights... Have to admit very impressed with your walking idea... Where abouts in Sligo are you staying??

Don't worry about the weekend. What's done is done, so just concentrate on what you're eating today!

You need to have a break once in a while, to give yourself a treat.
Wedding fairs are the best for food haha we went to a great one at the D hotel in Drogheda once and the food was to die for, didn't look at anything weddingy I just ate the whole time and guzzled back the champagne! :o0

I can't go to SW tonight as I have college but I weighed myself at work (I keep scales under my desk!) and I have lost 5 pounds! I weighed myself on them last week as well to make sure they are the same as the ones at SW so the 5 pounds is definitelt correct, I'm delighted.

I was making soup at midnight last night for todays lunch, so it's good to know it's all worth it!

I'll be eating and drinking a fair bit this weekend so I'm a bit worried about weighing myself next week, I'll just be extra good today and the rest of the week.

We're staying in Mullaghmore, it's a little village that has hardly anything in it apart from nice views! We like that kind of thing, we prefer quiet breaks instead of staying in a big fancy modern hotel in the middle of a city. I'm a granny at heart! The hotel looks great though, and I've booked the OH in for a full body massage as surprise so he should enjoy himself. I just hope the girl that does it isn't too good looking! :o0

Monday is good for me, I can meet you in Bettystown, it's only off the M1 so it suits me grand.
And there is no need for you to worry at all about me taking it easy on you - I get worn out walking to the end of the road, so it could be you slowing down for me!
