bad pain me back have herniated disk in lumber spine

I was in an accident 2 years agos and mri showed early bulging disk in upper back n neck but doc said not deep enough to cause nerve pain in agony with it every day I also suffered with my pelvis since been pregnant and lower back get terrible pain in my tailbone and in my bum n pelvis doc done an exray on pelvis which said was fine but one of my disck in lumber spine said looks herniated disease in one of my disc in lumber but im getting mri to see how back it is he said he thinks its whiplash in upper back but couldnt be because im getting pains in some of my disks in upper back which is real bad can anyone tell me if i have herniated disk in lumber spine could the pain travel up my back and causing all this pain thanks

Hi lslevin
I have nothing but sympathy for you. Back pain ruins even the smallest task. Your MRI will show up your problem - it's the best thing to get done to see what's problems are there.
I only have a bulging disc in my lower lumber spine which causes the muscles in my upper back to go into spasm to compensate for the pain. Then because my muscles in my back are so tight on one side they've pulled my pelvis at an angle all trying to stop the pain but causing pain in different areas. I had to get an MRI done to learn all this and so my physio would know how to treat it.
I really hope your problem is identified in your MRI and you get some relief.
