Coming off the pill.

I stopped taking the pill at the beginning of Dec and have yet to get a period. Ive been on the pill 10 years and had regular periods on it. The last one I was on was cerazette and that was causing me to spot almost daily. Did a pg test and Im not pregnant. Getting a little bit worried now that there is something wrong.
Any advice?

I came off it a few months ago and got it 5 weeks later. Having said that, my friend didn't get hers back until 9 months later - she kept taking pregnancy tests. I'd probably leave it a bit longer before I'd worry too much over it. Decembers not that long ago. If you're really worried though, you could always go to your GP.

I wouldn't panic yet drummerswife2b. I think when you come off the pill after a long stretch on it, your body can take a while to regulate itself again. I think if you still haven't had a period though in the next 2-3 weeks then maybe get your GP's advice.

Thanks guys. I knew there would be a bit of a mess up at first but I just kinda presumed it would be back to normal by 10 wks. Glad I came off when I did as we want to start ttc in Sept so im glad I gave it this long to sort itself out.
