Water retention.....HELP!!!!!!

Ladies, I'm at the end of my tether with blooming water retention O:| Its predominantly in my lower legs and feet and no matter what herbal teas or whatever amount of healthy eating and exercise i do it never seems to fully go. I'm so frustrated with it as i've been putting such effort into healthy eating and exercise lately too and that doesn't seem to be having much effect :o( Any tips or advice would be gratefully received! :thnk

Give up salt. We add salt to so many foods that already contain salt aswell, things like yougurt & cheese have salt that we don't know about. I find for toning up legs, running is the best thing and do some stretches, you can stand with your heels off a step (or stairs) and go fully up on your toes and back down again, this is great for calf muscle

edited to say.... eat foods high in potassium such as bananas and cranberries to help flush out excess water HTH

Thanks a mill babydust2012 for the tips!

Salt is something I'm very much aware of and actively trying to cut out of my diet! I've switched my diet completely and only eat healthy fresh fruits and veg etc but jaysus i think i'm just having a meltdown about this water retention as i'm sitting here at my desk looking at what seems like elephant feet squished into a pair of nice sandals O:|

I'll be stocking up on all things cranberry and banana after work! Is the likes of cranberry juice ok for helping in getting rid of fluid retention?

I've a gym class tonight and I'll likely get calf raises in and then some i'd say!
