Q for slimming world girls!

Ok, So I need to loose about 10-14 pounds and would love to have it off in about 6 weeks. How many Syns a day should I aim for? Also doing exercise, about 30 minutes moderate intensity 6 days a week.

A stone in 6 weeks is achievable but it depends on how quickly you generally lose weight. When I stick to plan properly I can get 2/2.5lbs a week but that's with no exercise so if you stick to the plan and do some exercise you should manage it. You're allowed between 5 and 15syns a day so I'd aim for 10 if you want to lose an extra bit. Some of the girls in my group say that when they want to boost themselves they'll use their syns on 'food' as opposed to treats? So work it into your meals and cut out the crap and it might help too. I love my chocolate too much.

I'm very impatient and finding it slow going at the moment and just wish I had a stone off tomorrow but it isn't going to happen and the logical side to me knows that I'm not sticking to plan 100% BUT I know that I'm making small changes that I'll be able to maintain when I do eventually get to my target. In about 10yrs time! Lol!

It also depends on your starting weight- like people at 14 or 15 stone can lose a lot more in their first week, than someone at 10 or 11 stone for example.

You need to be sure that you have your 1/3 superfree too. Keeping to low syns is only a part of it.

Thanks a mill for the reply hun, I'm aiming for 7ish week days and 10-15 for weekends. I think if i even lost 7 pounds it would motivate me to loose the rest. I've just found propoints a disaster so disheartened, should have done sw from word go!!
