Slimming World vs Weight Watchers vs Unislim

Hi ladies,

I need some serious help.

This morning I weighed myself and at 5'4" I am 12st 5.5lbs, that's 173.5lbs/78.5 kg!

This is not good and even though i know how to lose weight I have zero motivation!

Which of these groups is best and why?

I can only comment on slimming world but I find it fantastic. The plan is easy to follow and there's very little weighing/measuring. I find the support great too but it works both ways. You have to contribute to the group to get something back. We have a closed group on facebook for our class and it's brilliant. There's always someone there to answer any questions or even just lend an ear if you've had a bad food day or give you a kick in the ass if that's what you need.

I joined in November and have almost lost 2 stone. Found it hard to get back into the swing of it after xmas but I'm getting there slowly. I just took my measurements again this morning and I've lost 20" all over since I started and probably more because I was 3 weeks into it before I thought to take my original measurements! I've gone from a size 16 being snug to a size 10-12 on the bottom and 12-14 on top. I still have a bit to go but I can honestly say that with slimming world I know that the changes I've made to my diet will be ones I will keep for life!

I go to Slimming World, my mum and SIL has gone to weight watchers...

I don't like how you have to measure and count points on everything with weight watchers - I don't like counting... with Slimming World there is very little counting and measuring - as there are lots of free and superfree food that you can eat all you want of! There are loads of recipes on the websites that are totally free - so eat as much as you want without counting!!

The girls there are brilliant and its great different tips from people.

And after your first members talk with your consultant you'll dismiss Slimming World, thinking surely you can't lose weight eating all that "free" food....... but seriously you can!!
