Lipotrim "Lighter Life" Milkshake Diet

Lipotrim "Lighter Life" Milkshake Diet

Postby pamelaeamonn » Tue Mar 13, 2022 4:33 pm

Hi, I am just enquiring to see if anyone has done this diet before. I did Lipotrim a couple of years ago and only lasted 3 days. I am starting on 1st April and am determined to stick it out for 6 weeks. This will bring me up to my Hens.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

To be quite honest and frank with you, I wouldn't do this. A girl in work with me did this, yes she lost weight but she has stomach issues now and is putting the weight back on.

Can you just not stick to a controlled low cal food plan (HATE the word diet)? I don't believe in the short fix solutions and think they are unsustainable and silly. just my opinion :-8

+1

I know a girl who did it and lost 4 stone for her wedding but she has put 6+ on since though.

I find Slimming World great, really easy to stick to and no counting points etc

Thanks for the advice, i have already lost 5 stone with Motivation Clinic but over the last year or so have just hit a brick wall. I've joined slimming world also but seem to keep going off the beating track, although when doing it I had good weight losses.

I am just looking for a quick fix but would not like to put my weight back on after the wedding. I will have a serious think about deciding if im going to do this :eek

Well done on losing 5 stone, I did lipotrim few years ago and lost over a stone, but of course put it all back on and more, and it really messed up my eating pattern. I then joined weight watchers and lost it again just as quick but this time through healthy eating and better choices. So i would recommend that you spend the money you would on lipotrim on ww or slimming world and maybe a class in the gym etc, do it sensibly.

I know exactly how you feel.... I have done Lipotrim 3 times, each time putting back more and more... I find it very hard now to do a "healthy eating diet" because Lipotrim has ruined it for me... I want to lose the 4 stone in 6 weeks!!!! however, sinces my last time on Lipotrim two years ago, I have had huge problems with my stomach, I have IBS and have recently been diagnosed with Gallstones, which are extremely painful....

I joined the gym and am now going every day ( I am the laziest person in the world usually) I tried my Dress on a few weeks ago and was sooo disapointed... really thought when I bought it I would be down a good bit (bit did nothing to do it) I gave up drink too (which is killing me) but I am noticing a big difference already.... my hen is in two weeks so going to drink then and then not again till wedding.... I am advising you not to do it... but to be honest two weeks ago I was considering it:) if your doing SW everytime you go to break it think of you walking down that aisle:) Good Luck

I've seen people I know doing Lipotrim and all but one has but the weight back on...and then some!

Personally, I can't see how doing this diet could work - as your not eating calorie controlled things, so obviously when you stop and you back to normal daily foods - the weight is gonna pile back on... unless you go to groups like Slimming World or Weight Watchers. But then why not do these groups first and you'll see the way of life you'll have to adopt to lose the weight and then the bigger task... maintain it

I did lipotrim for my wedding 3 years ago. I deliberately ordered my dress 2 sizes too small for me and without doing lipotrim I never would have managed to get into it. Obviously I put the weight back on again but that’s simply because I went back to eating like a always ate. If it’s a quick fix your looking for then I say go for it! I havent put on any weight that I didn’t loose and I didn’t have any long lasting stomach problems or anything else from it. My sister did it as well and she lost weight but she has managed to keep hers off by sticking to a healthy diet - she has more self control that me :o0 She also has no lasting health problems from doing it. It aint easy and 6 weeks is a long time to do it for so best of luck!

Gallstones is a side affect of it, my SIL did it and while still on it (she was on it months as had a lot of weight to lose) she got gallstones and had to get her gallbladder removed, she also had lots of other health problems that could be related to using it.

I did it myself too for a month and lost a stone but like everyone else I put it all back on plus another 2/3 stone. Yes it does work but its so bad for you. Well done on losing the 5 stone - don't mess it up by using this. The last few pounds are always the hardest to lose, you just need to be stricter and maybe change around your diet and excercises?

I know a few ladies at work who did it .. all had issues after .. gall bladder and stomach issues..

I'm currently eating healthier, and walking, its has taken time, take it each step at a time and better health choices even though its tough is much better .. just my opinion .. but good luck with it :wv
