Re: Dilemma
I'd say start to look now. I started last week (ok I've bags of time) but after 4 shops I still don't know what I want! So based on my experience I'd say it best to see whats out there.
1 stone is usually the equivilant of one dress size so even if you buy a dress off the rails and it fits you now, then alterations to take it in one size would not be the end of the world. Good luck and happy shopping! ![]() Re: Dilemma
aww thanks for the advice .... think i'll start looking and trying on so I know what suits me ... ![]() [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

Re: Dilemma
Definitely start looking now. A stone is not a huge amount of weight, most dresses can be taken in at least one dress size. Most people have to get their dresses altered in some way when it comes into the shop. You will probably be the same, even if you have lost all the weight. Height, bust etc. If you will be getting alterations done anyway, you might as well take your time and pick you dress now and get it in the sales!
Re: Dilemma
I'd definitely look now. I got my dress last month and lots of shops told me I'd left it late!

Re: Dilemma
I have bought my dress already but don't get married until May next year. I plan on losing between 1.5 - 2 stone before my wedding, do you think I have been too hasty buying my dress so soon? Is it possible to take a wedding dress in this month?
Re: Dilemma
