how to tone arms????

I really need to tone my arms, they are the part of my body I hate the most, I run and swim but doesnt do much for my bingo wings :weep wedding 3mths away now..have i left it too late..dont want to look at video after the big day and be disgusted with my huge arms!!

Maybe try weights while you're running Or im sure you'd get some arm only toning excerises on you tube...?

I've been fighting with my Bingo Wings since I was about 16. Finally 9 years later I have found the one thing that works- TRX & Kettlebell classes. Unreal for all over toning but especially arms. :lvs my kettlebells!

Hi Bjune2012,

I have an article coming out in the evening Herald over the next few days and its based on short programs I have had the pleasure of working with one to one recently. Just to help you out, the running movement doesn't work the arms. You have to be bending and extending you arms to work the bingo wings, now that would look really funny as you jog.

Do a youtube on the following three exercises. Put all three exercises together as a circuit. Try and do all three without a break, then after the third exercise, take a 30 second to 1 min break. Do this 3 times over. It should not take more than 10 mins of your time. Give yourself 48 hours recovery time in between workouts.

(1) standing overhead tricep extensions. (grab the yellow pages for this one instead of buying a dumbell)
(2) Chair Dips ; You can also use the stairs if your chairs are too light.
(3) Close grip press ups. - Important to do this one with your elbows at your sides. Start with your knees on the floor and progress if possible to taking the knees of the floor.
