Period and Weight Loss

Hey Wollies, I am trying to lose weight for a few milestones at the moment and I am 11lbs in and I have 44lb to go... I am wondering to what degree does it effect weightloss and does the pill effect it to. I always feel a bit bloaty before AF but I dont know if im fishing for excuses.. I dont think that it is an excuse but I would like to hear about yer experiences.

I know in Slimming World they allow for that week (its a star week) and thats always taken as a reason for a slow down in weight loss. I'm not sure if its because of bloating or eating crap though!

Well done on your weightloss so far.

When I have my period I get super-bloated, my belly swells up and gets hard, so I can't suck it in IYKWIM... ;o(

I gain a couple of pounds some months, or I might stay same on scales despite knowing that I've stuck to plan 100%

Thanks :) I am feeling so horrible today and then I weighed in and I think that just compounded the whole thing :( I am hoping that the bloating will subside in the next few days... I know what you mean about the eating though... I got the most almighty craving for chips last night!!! and of course I gave in.. then convinced myself that the fact that I shared them with OH meant that I was actually good!! :) I think Ill have to chalk it down and get back on track in the morning... I have 1lb to go to get into a new stone and I know that for me seeing a new stone is such a boost! :)
