hey
girls i left a tampon in for two weeks, just found it now. feel like vomiting but it might be the fright i got. has this happened to anyone. it didnt smell too bad

Don't panic, I'm sure you're grand, did you feel ill or just realise it was there some other way? If you didn't feel unwell before then I wouldn't worry...

Anny without wishing to scaremonger or freak the hell out of you, I would head to the Doctors in the morning. You can get an infection called TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) from this and it can potentially be extremely serious. I'm sure you will be fine but better safe then sorry.

And again, apologies if I scare you but I knew someone who developed TSS and I couldnt read your message and not respond given that I know the risks.

Oh dear , try not to worry too much. Have you had any flu or cold like symptoms? Or dizziness, diarrhoea or sickness? If you have I would go and see your doctor straight away. Even woot these symptoms it might be wise to just go in and have a chat with the doc to make sure alls well.

Hi. The same thing happened me some years ago. It was in for a week or maybe more. But I wanted to reply to say that I was just fine. I felt fine at the time and didn't go see my doc. Thought I'd add a more positive post to the other ones on here. I now TSS can be a big risk but just wanted you to know it doesn't always happen!!
