Great -one month to wedding and dress doesn't fit...

Had my dress fitting and it is supposed to be floaty, but it's not quite how it worked out.. It's too tight across the upper thighs, but perfect everywhere else. They will let it out as much they can (they say not much) but I will need to seriously slim down my thighs. I have lost weight in the lead up to the wedding but I never seem to lose it from my thighs. With running they just seem to bulk up more. :duh: Any magic solution suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!!!

Spining if you can get to a class a couple of times a week and work as hard as you can in the class you will see the effects really quickly - fantastic for toning up the thighs!

Ive been told spinning actually bulks up the legs and hips. Im not sure if its true, I don't like it so I tell myself it is. :o0 Good exercises for thighs are variations on squats and lunges.

For me personally, it has worked wonders. I really notice it in my jeans fit. You would put on bulk if you are pushing high resistance. The trick is keep it low and spin as fast as you can. I think the squats etc would have an effect, though I cant comment because I only ever manage to stick at doing them for a couple of days!

I second the squats and lunges, its the best exercise for the thighs, also try the plank (see below) it focuses on your core strength but also your arms and legs. Also a good one is lying flat on your back and legs straight out lift them 90 degrees and lower very slowly till you are about an inch off the ground and hold for 5-10 seconds and do as many reps as you can (see image)

These worked wonders for me 3 weeks before my wedding as I was caught in the hips also, HTH :xox
