Due Period while on Honeymoon

Hi Wollies,

Weird question I know but just wondering what you are doing about your monthly cycles and timing of wedding and honeymoon.
I came off pill about a year ago and have just started back to regular periods, usually beginning of the month which is when I will be honeymoon, I dont want to have it while on hm, can I do anything to miss it??? Hold off for a month?

hi excited bride, there is like a mini pill you can get from your doc for two weeks cant remember what its called i have a few friends who used the same thing going on holidays etc with mixed results i.e. some had a little bleed but on the whole it worked. You need your GP to prescribe it if you check in with a well woman centre they will give the best advice.

Alternatively go back on the pill for 2-3 months and take a double packet, dont come of it before/during honeymoon and no auntie flow :)

I'll be doubling up on my pill to avoid having the dreaded cycle for my big day / honeymoon.
