Getting a stupid Cold....

I have been taking echinecia (Sp) for the last 2 months every day - I am eating more oranges than my body can cope with and then last night I started to come down with a nasty cold. I now have an earache, a sore throat (on the side of the earache) and a splitting headache. Got a really busy weekend ahead with wedding bits and pieces - loads to do cannot imagine how I am going to have time to be sick. Any recommendations gratefully recieved. Should I go home and have a duvet day?

Absolutely go home and get it out of your system - would also recommend a hot whiskey with fresh lemon juice, honey and cloves - that will really sweat it out of you - it may be horrible but well worth it.

Day & night tablets are the business....

Another favourite is lemsip with a shot of whiskey.. check with the chemist if you can take both at the same time..

Go home and lie on the couch for the day with your duvet and the fire on...its definatly the weather for it
