Girls - do any of you use the Slendertone belts or shorts... are they any good? Thinking of buying one

I bought one of these years ago, and convinced myself it was all I needed to get the nice toned body I wanted. No such luck!! It's not only a waste of money, it's quite uncomfortable, like little pins being stuck into your skin.
A very bad buy of mine :x

Sadly, the slendertone products are marketed as a quick and easy fix. They package regularly used technology for athletes in to an easy to use belt or pair of shorts.

Yes they would work, if and only if, you accompanied it with a serious excercise/diet routine. The electrical charges applied to the muscles will tone the muscles, but you'll never see them if you have a layer of fat over them. We've all got that six-pack hidden away!

Your only way to tone up is to burn more calories than you consume during a day. It never needs to be hated task though. Find a class like step aerobics or spinning or tae-bo that you like doing and cut out processed foods and generally keep an eye on what you eat and you will make big inroads in to your weight issues.

It'll be hard when you start, but stick with it for more than 1 month and you will see results. Push the body that bit harder than you think you are able for. Don't be afraid to sweat, don't think that being out of breath is bad. Go for it in a nice class that's fun to do and weight will fall off. If you match this with the use of the slendertone products, you'll be doing great.
