weight gain

We started planning our wedding in July and by August I'd put on a stone. :cry: which I haven't been able to shift.
I'm not doing anything more wrong than normal if you get what I mean. I started going to the gym approx 3 times a week, I've practically stopped drinking during the week and only one day at the weekend. And still this weight is hanging on for dear life.
What am I doing wrong? I couldn't commit to WW so thats not an option.
I'ts really depressing me especially when I needed to lose a stone not put one on.

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

Have you changed your contraceptive? I was on deprovera years ago and put on a stone within a few weeks like that and couldn't shift it at all.... came off it and the weight came off too. I had implanton inserted in my arm nearly two years ago now and the stone was back on in two months of me getting it. Again its hard to shift but I've had to sort of relax and say its either that or risk a pregnancy, which just wouldn't be on at the minute.

Hi Twinkle.

If it's depressing you that much then you need to make a commitment to some diet.... so to say you couldn't commit to WW isn't helping you. You need to get it into your head that this is what you want to do and are going to do whatever it takes to achieve your goal...

Give WW or Unislim a chance... a proper commited chance and I promise you, you won't be disappointed

You can do it... you just need to pick yourself up, put your mind to it and get on and do it...
