I didn't know about it either until my leader told me - she made sure i got mine and it is a great reminder of our fantastic achievements - yay go us :o)ll :o)ll

Defo ask your leader for it - i know its only a piece of paper but its acknowledgement of your great loss

Hi all.

I don't know if you will find this helpful, but i lost 9 stone 1 pound in 5 years on Weightwatchers and recently got to goal and ive started a food blog and put up different recipes with the propoints and also an eating out guide and some useful food finds. If anyone is interested you can pop over and have a look its http://theniptuckfoodblog.blogspot.com

Good luck to all of you with your weigh in. Im like a yo yo since getting to goal. Ill have more stretch marks on these 3 pounds that im either gaining or loosing each week than what i have from 2 children lol.

Hi, thought I'd join in too!

Joined WW in October and by Christmas lost 10lb which was great, lost another 5.5lb by the time my hen came around in March but it was a disaster after that! Between the hen and the wedding and the holiday I was up 5lb :-8

I am since back on track and have lost 2.5lb in the last 2 weeks. I have another 18lb to get to goal. I joined a gym a couple of weeks ago which seems to be helping. My biggest weakness it being home alone in the evenings (hubbie away with work for couple of months) and routing for nibbles after LO has gone to bed! I'm no good with boredom.

Hi all,

Really hoping I can use this forum to motivate myself, as I have been trying to lose weight without success for the last two years pretty much!!
Four months on Friday until my wedding and I had my first real panic attack today!! :eek Have been so focused on getting everything else ready for the wedding that I'd kind of forgotten about myself.
Weighed myself this morning and I am 10 stone 1. My goal weight for the wedding is 8 stone 10 pounds(this would be right for my height). That is 19 pounds!!! Is this possible in just over 16 weeks? Even if I could get to 9 stone I would be elated, I just cannot shift the weight that I have put on over the last few years. I always get as far as about 9stone 9 and then put it all back on again.
I cannot do crash diets so I think the slow approach is best, healthy diet and exercise. On that note I am back to the gym tonight after a long break.
Really appreciate hearing from anyone who had a similar amount to lose in the same time frame, or any motivational tips. I just know that I will be massively dissapointed with myself if I don't lose this weight before the big day, and its always been mjy dream to feel fabulousin my dress, so here it goes...DAY 1!!!!
Stupid question...how do I add one of those weight loss trackers at the bottom of my messages? :-8

Thanks x

DurrowBride, 19lb is doable in 16 weeks under normal circumstances but please keep in mind all the extra things that you will have on in the run up to the wedding. My last few weeks before the wedding there was always something on that included dinner and wine! You are right with the slow approach - plenty of exercies, minimum 2 litres of water a day, plenty of fruit and cut down on carbs.

I'm down 2lbs this week, have been good with the exercise, and still managed to lose the lb's even though I ate out twice this weekend with my H2B.. he's also down the same amount this week (so glad he is doing this with me :) )

I have to say, today I didn't have an afternoon fruit lunchbox which I prepare in the mornings, usually strawberries/raspberries/blueberries - and I realllllly missed it so I just bought an apple instead. No cravings for any chocolate or anything, just fruit. I'm delighted my brain is finally making the right choices!! Since January I've lost 2 stone gradually - I have 3.5 stone to go before my wedding September 2013, now I'm in serious mode!!

Woohoo down 2 pounds more. Making it 7 in two weeks. Delighted and really enjoying it. H2b down 10.5 in the two weeks.

Started at 185 pounds. I'm 5ft 9 (12 on top, 14 on bottom)
H2b started at 210.5. He's 5ft 10

Let's hope for more for next week :)

Normally my weigh in is tomorrow but with the bank holiday it'll be Tuesday. Had a good week so fingers crossed. Is it just me but even though I have the 49 points I kind of feel guilty using it for like a takeaway??

A woohooo 5 pounds down! Got my 5% sticker. Total of 12 pounds. Actually can't believe it I knew I was down but didn't think it would be this much. H2b didn't have the best week but was still down 1/2 pound. He's lost quite a few inches though! Here's to next week!!

Cant seem to find that table but did see this,
5ft 4in = bmi of 20 8st 5lb, Bmi of 25 10st 6lb.... so i presume somewhere in the middle of them would be your goal weight??
5ft 5in + bmi of 20 8st 8lb, bmi of 25 10st 10lb.

Isn't your bmi within healthy range so long as its between 20 - 25?? hth

Weigh in for me tonight :ooh

No problem - yea sometimes I think that a discussion needs to be had when you get near to goal to see if you need to go a bit further/less. Everyones bodies are different and can carry it in different ways.

Lost 2lbs this week :o)ll
