hi girls have been reading all your posts over the last few weeks and seems like we have a lot of people starting a new cycle around now...hopefully there will be a few BFP's on here in the next few weeks.
We had our cycle cancelled for the second time last week at down regulation stage because the linning of my womb didn't thin...My body just didn't react to the buserlin...we left the clinic last wednesday in bits as we just seemed to be getting nowhere...then i started bleeding on Monday so went back for a scan yesterday and they started me on a short protocol last night...it was all very unexpected and fast and now I am incredibly nervous that i won't produce enough follicles....this journey is just such an unbelievable rollercoaster of emotions .
Slanket I hope everything went ok for you today we will only be a day behind each other if it does. Deise Girl glad to see you are returning to full health...Best of luck to everyone else starting out :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust:

Hi girls,

Well thanks for all the good luck wishes as they seemed to have worked & we're over the first hurdle! My lining is thin & everything looks nice & quiet so I have to start the fsh injections on Friday night! I have a day 8 scan then next Friday so it's all systems go!

Still waiting that's great that they have you on the short protocol, & we'll be going through this at the same time.

Deise girl so glad to hear you are back to full health. Enjoy your 2 family weddings. I love an excuse to get dressed up!

JB: It's a possibility there may be a risk of OHSS if you have lots of follies. I got OHSS myself after EC. This is possibly the reason why they are scanning you again tomorrow to keep a close eye on them. I doubt it's anything to do with the bank holiday because i was originally scheduled for ET back on the October bank holiday! (didn't go ahead!)

If it was me now I'd ring reception , get through to the nurse and just ask her opinion.

Tell your other half no "bold stuff" for 3 days before EC :o0

Ooooh jewelbride how exciting!!!! Id say you have lots of juicy follicles that's why they are bringing you in early. Yep you are right with the no fun stuff for 3 days before egg collection! As busby said you might be at risk of Ohss so that's why the rush to get you in. Also in my clinic anyway all the drs might get together & go through each case, your doc could have spoken to another dr & they both could have decided to being you in.

Best of luck with it JB and loads of :babydust:
