A TTC blog

A TTC blog

Postby bazinga » Mon Jan 30, 2022 11:17 pm

Hi all,

Bit morto writing this - but I have decided to now keep a note of my journey with a blog. If you want to read you can - if this sort of thing doesn't interest you - sorry for the annoying thread!

I wanted to keep a record of my journey and get some of thoughts down. They will (hopefully) be nice to look back on. The first few posts will probably just be background and history.

Anyway before I die off - here it is read/don't read and please feel free to comment on it! I wanted to put it in here, before I let everyone know as it is a very personal journey

Apologies for waffling!! :-8

Thanks Libra moon! I know she is, the witch, I am considering making a complaint about her!

I wanted to get all the bad stories about the bad doctors in one so I can concentrate on the good tonight/tomorrow! Don't want a lot of horror stories putting people off :-8

Bazinga, well done, just started reading and love it! Damn you woman though, you have made me ball at the "winter womb" piece and what your lovely oh said to you!
Here's hoping your blog is a short one before your BFP. As a fellow PCOS'er I can understand a lot of what you are saying. I don't know how many times I said to docs in the past that something wasn't right, I always had irregular periods and was told to just go on the pill, no explanation or other questions asked. What a wagon of a doc though :action32
Anyway good luck on your (hopefully short) journey

Bazinga, Good for you starting a blog, I've thought on it a few times but never got round to it. Can't look now as work have them blocked but I'll get round to it one evening.
TTC #1 since April 2008. MMC in June 2009
First IVF cycle with Sims Oct/Nov 2011 - 4 follicles, 1 egg, didn't fertilise.
2nd IVF cycle started end Jan 2012, 3 eggs, 1 fertilised, transfer cancelled on the day it was due to take place.
3rd IVF cycle May 2012 with Cube in Prague. 6 eggs, 4 fertilised, 2 transferred, none frozen. BFN
4th IVF cycle July 2012 with Cube in Prague. Hope this is the one as I'm not sure I'm able to take many more of those damn steps.

To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping.
