It is so important to mind your mental health during all times in your life and also though the challenging times that exist if you happen to be struggling with infertility.

There are lots of support networks available through acupuncture, exercise, relaxation techniques, psychotherapy, volunteering, meditation, buying or owning a pet, improving your diet, spending time with good compassionate and caring friends, watching a movie that makes you laugh and getting a the right amount of sleep all help with mental health and stress. Also know that you are not alone that there are lots of people out there that are struggling and perhaps meeting or talking with like minded people will help too.

Hi Girls, I've been to two accupuncturists, one money grabbing useless one in Cork near Wilton that clearly just wanted to woo us all with thank you cards with baby pictures on them from previous clients, I found this unnerving in a way because it was a kind of a 'if you don tcome here for long enough you wont get your baby' anyway she was giving me herbs to take at 30 euro for 5 days, and the sessions were 55 euro, after four I told her i wanted to stop as she kept asking me the same questions, (ie she was just doing it robotically to everyone instead of looking at my chart for instance, I told her I could sleep the round of the clock always no problem sleeping, and she would say, .. so tell me are you sleeping better now?) just cracked me the hell up.

When I decided after 5 times that was it I had enough she told me thats fine if you want to go for IVF thats ok its much more expensive, she asked me if myself and my husband had jobs when she found out we had she made me feel guilty for leaving. I was so upset,

changed to another guy in cork who is lovely but ive since given up on him too, all in all ive had 9 accu sessions in the last 67 days and its done nothing only make my AF disappear completely, Its a very vulnerable time for all of us TTC so just be careful who you go to. I think alot of it is the placebo effect to be honest.

Im not sure where to turn to next im waiting on AF after provera but no sign yet.

best of luck to everyone, and for anyone finding accupuncture good, thats great for you, someone caring and interested in your story, not some money grabbing chinese woman, sorry for rant but I was taken for a fool by her.
