No symptoms 9 days after embryo transfer??

No symptoms 9 days after embryo transfer??

Postby eissac » Fri Apr 13, 2022 5:16 pm

Ladies- for those of you who have been through IVF and had successful pregnancies as a result, how soon after ET did you experience pregnancy symptoms? I had a 2 day transfer 9 days ago, 2 good quality 4 cell embryos were transferred but I don't really feel any different, and I'm wondering is that normal? I do have some mild cramping and a little breast tenderness every now and then but I think these are side effects of the progesterone gel. I'm going crazy here wondering so any help or advice from people who have been through it would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks so much for the reply. I test on Wed. So nervous, I just hope it's positive. TBH the AF cramps and sore boobs are very mild and come and go- were you the same? I think I would just really like strong obvious symptoms to reassure myself but I know it's probably too early! We're you also on Crinone? Thanks again :)

+ 1 I had bad cramps one day and the next nothing. Also had a couple of days of headaches but thats was probably from stress ! My two babies were from a day 2 transfer aswell :lvs I know the waiting time is torture but honestly there is no hard of fast symptom as alot of things can be put down to drugs so try not to worry that your symptoms are mild and keep those fingers and toes crossed hon.
I was extremely bold and tested 9dp2dt and got a very faint bfp :o0 nearly drove myself mad for next few days/weeks testing again to make sure line was getting darker so your better off waiting for test day, The very best of luck :babydust:

Thanks a mill for the replies... Really appreciate it. Well I'm now 11DPT and I haven't felt anything in last 2 days. The tender boobs I was occasionally experiencing has gone and the cramps are very very mild and happen rarely. I'm driving myself mad with worry!! Every time I go to the toilet Im convinced AF will have arrived. Does anyone know when AF would be due? Is it 14 days after egg collection or 14 days after transfer?

Best of luck :)
I didn't have any symptoms either and was one of the lucky ones who didn't even get morning sickness, so don't worry at all.
I'm not on here that much these days, butwill be looking out for you on Wed (or before if you get brave)
Lots of :babydust: and hopefully it'll be a nice BFP

eissac and Windycity, the very best of luck to you both, keeping my fingers crossed for Big Fat Positives all round.

Eissac in answer to your question, the crinone will most likely keep your AF from arriving even if it's a BFN. It's providing you with progesterone so the only way you will know is by taking a test.

Very best of luck :lvs
