Looking for info on autoimmunity bloods ?
Just lookin for info on the whole immunity situation / natural killer cells where do u start if u want to get bloods done? I'm nearly convinced at the this I hav implantation problems as my embryos are perfect but just don't seen to want to nest in the womb. I was reading on some site that your GP can refer u to James to get some of the bloods done, anyone any experience? TTC 2007

hopefull i had them done in sims the basic ones that cover a good bit for about 150, then i had the more detailed ones the chicago ones for 1000, as i have crohns, mine came back grand but that may be cause i am on meds for my auto immune condition.
have you had failed ivf? and if so were you on any meds such as asprin, clexane, steroids, sims give these to help with immune issues or implantation, i think the asprin is to thin the blood a bit as if its a bit thick and clotty it can be hard from the embryo to get o2. as for getting them done in your gp's i think sims send there blood to claydmon labs, so you could find out if they do it.

I second what jewellb has said. I had my immune bloods done through both SIMS and also my G.P. (who sent them to their own laboratory). Some of them can take a few weeks to come back. SIMS gave me the list of immune bloods and what I could get done through my G.P. I did (as I am a Medical Card patient), but some (like the Natural Killer Cells) I had done through SIMS themselves but one test can be about €100-120. Check prices on their website. I had my auto immune bloods carried out in my clinic, think it was 150 Euro.
