Hi Girls,

Has anyone been for a consult in Care Beacon? What did you think? We had a failed cycle with Sims and are considering Care, keep switching back and forward.....didn't have any faults with Sims, it's just Dr O is leaving and Care have that embryoscope thing.

Would love to hear your views. Thanks.

Hi Rachel,

I sent an online referral form to Care Beacon on Mothers day & I only got a reply yesterday. They still haven't opened as they are undergoing assessment by the irish medical board which they hope to complete by end of July. It's 200e for an initial consultation and you have to bring a copy of notes etc.

I think we are going to stay with Or**g*ns as hope to cycle again in July.

Thanks LewLew. I knew they wouldn't be properly open for a while but I didn't realise it took them so long to reply! I think I'll stick with Sims. It's hard to know whether we're doing the right thing and as it's so much money it's such a leap of faith. Is your clinic in Belfast? If you're considering changing would you not consider Sims? It's not too far from Care Beacon? And I have to say I've found them excellent.
